The groomers Precious Pet Dog Grooming Salon usually do a great job, but the price has climbed steadily over the past couple of years. A bath and haircut for our Spaniel once cost about $30 and is now up to $45--more than I'm willing to spend on my own hair! Unfortunately, the price was just as high when we simply had the dog shaved for comfort in the hot summer weather.
