Wasabi gets my business, but sometimes I wonder why. Their sushi is good, but expensive for the quality they offer. Their Sushi Chefs are not Chefs, and they're not Japanese. Still, if you're in Jaw-nston and in a hurry to grab some Sushi, this is the place to go.
Their best offering, in my opinion, is the fried ice cream (doesn't work too well for take-out, though.)
My 6 year old really likes Wasabi because they have a mini waterfall he can play with, and the staff coo and fawn over him and applaud his use of chopsticks. They also give him handfuls of hard candies, and extra chopsticks to take home.
The staff are very friendly - see above - and have earned a regular crowd, including me. If you're too lazy to head over to the East Side, then Wasabi is a safe bet.
