One suggestion in general, including previous technicians and field personnel, is to somehow bring up that it's ok for the homeowner, etc. to stick around and ask questions during the visit. I didn't feel discouraged from witnessing and inquiring about the service activities during this visit, I had other things going on, but I have asked questions in the past and I wasn't sure if the technician would have preferred to just get work done or to demonstrate and educate the homeowner about what they're doing and why.
