I have needed relatively minor maintenance and scheduled service for my E39 and have twice taken the vehicle to BMW Bellevue. Their service receptionists have treated me like I was complicating their days just by speaking to them. The service department (which, incidentally, took 3 weeks to get into)demanded that the vehicle be delivered early in the morning and still didn't even begin the work they scheduled until well after lunch(instead leaving me stuck in Bellevue six extra hours. Even though the work was scheduled almost a month in advance, they still couldn't provide a loaner car. There was no one available to explain the work that had, eventually, been completed. Instead, I had a young receptionist turn around the paperwork I was trying to decipher and recite back what I had already read. They couldn't find my keys, the car was filthy and, to top it off, someone had already filled out the critique form on my behalf (giving the service department five stars in ALL catagories!)
