I had to clean out a property not too long ago and I needed a storage unit for a month. The guys over at iStorage were very inviting and they made the entire process very smooth. I greatly appreciated all that they did. more

I've used iStorage Akron a couple of times. I started using them in 2009, and I've used them on and off based on when I'm in the area. I've moved a couple hundred miles several times, so each time I'm back in Lancaster I use their facility. I've used them anywhere from a three month stretch to a year and a half. When I'm moving back and forth I might not be there for a week or two, but I always come in and out. Every time I've used them I've found they have friendly staff. The facility is clean and accessible. Other facilities might have run down cars or boats and not look good. But with iStorage Akron, it doesn't matter what's in the other units because the whole facility is well maintained. It looks really nice. As a young female I'm never afraid to go into the facility, regardless of the time. It is well-lit and clean. You never have to worry about bugs or mice. I'm never worried about my possessions when I'm storing them there, and I can get in anytime I need. They have good customer service. There have been times when I've needed assistance because I couldn't find my documents or I needed to make a payment, and the staff was very helpful, emailing and calling me back. I would definitely recommend them, because I feel like the facility is comfortable and clean. I've had no problems. Some other places feel less reliable, but this facility is appealing visually. When I don't have a home to put my things, I feel comfortable leaving them at iStorage Akron. more

I like iStorage Akron because it is convenient to my house. I've been storing with them since October, and it's pretty good. One thing I didn't like was that they had some work done at the facility recently, and I didn't get notification of the work. I needed something important from my unit, but I couldn't get to it for a couple days because they were paving. They could have at least notified me before the work started. Otherwise I feel like the unit is safe and clean, and the people who work there are friendly. more

iStorage Akron is easy to get into. Everything is clean and it's just very nice. I've been storing there for maybe four or five months. Their employees are very nice; I like the people there. It's a nice, safe place. If you choose to store there, you won't have to worry about somebody breaking in and getting your stuff. more

iStorage Akron has really good people. We got a small storage unit and it was spotless -- no dust, no nothing. They've got really good customer service. Every time I had problem, they were quick to help. I definitely would recommend them to everybody I know. more

We used iStorage Akron some years ago, and recently came back to rent. The service is still consistent to what we experienced the first time around. It's been very good. The lady at the front desk is very accommodating. The units are clean. The security of the building is just fine. We have had no problems at all with the service. We would recommend them. more

iStorage Akron is conveniently located near our home. Our experience with the staff has been very nice. Christina is especially a sweetheart. The storage units are nice and clean. We like the security of the place. The also offer a truck that you can use to transport your possessions; all you need to pay for is gas. The only thing we don't like is that the units are a bit pricier than some of the other competitors, and prices often go up. We have three small units, and when we checked another place, they offered the same size for quite a few dollars less. We will keep using them for now, unless prices continue to rise. We would recommend to potential customers that they check prices with other facilities first. Overall, we have had a wonderful experience and are pleased with the service, but it may get to the point where we can't afford the units anymore. more

I've been using iStorage for a little less than a month so I can't say too much. I did have issues with the pass key for a the first few days but I don't think it was their fault. After that, I find the unit's access very convenient. Cherie Simpson more

My review might be a little biased because I used to live in an apartment above the iStorage Akron facilities and I know Tom and Christine personally very well. They've always treated me very well, so I have nothing bad to say about them or the service. Except maybe that the grass was long in the spring a couple times and looked pretty shaggy. But I have nothing to complain about. The prices seem to be reasonable and it's convenient for me. more

I would definitely recommend this storage company to others. It was very clean and the people that work there are very courteous and love to help you out. The units are very clean and some have electric inside which I couldn't find anywhere else. The prices are also very good. more
