We were invited to a party here. My first thought when I saw the dimly lit neon sign above the pizza place below is ""Okay...not sure we're at the right place..."" When we entered the building, we first saw the creaky, stained carpeted staircase and a sign with scrolled writing saying, ""Please use the stairs to get to Ibop"" which is on the second floor. To be honest, the interior looks like a cross between an old unrenovated apartment and a youth hostel. From the peeling paint to the uncomfortable chairs, it was not impressive. I don't think the design was even considered here, just space. Sure, karaoke is always fun I guess but I didn't see this as any different from any other karaoke experience. Per couple, we paid $60 which made my jaw drop. I usually am pretty forgiving, especially since the staff seemed nice, but overall I wouldn't recommend this place.
Pros: BYOB, nice staff
Cons: unsightly decor, expensive, not easy to find
