Charlie Hall Plumbing is a gem! Charlie and his son came out this morning to fix a number of plumbing issues I've been saving up. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. Charlie's been in the business for 40 years and has a knowledge base I've not seen in others before. I'm so happy with the job they did. And best of all -- I don't feel like I'm being ripped off like I do with most contractors! more

My name is Jack I had Charlie Hall Plumbing come out to my home after I was told by 3 other shops on Citysearch that my faucet could not be fixed and would need to be replaced. Charlie Hall Plumbing came and gave me a bid on what it would cost to REPAIR it. True to his word my faucet works like new and the whole bill cost me less then what I was quoted for the faucet alone. I had to say something here. I will also be leaving a comment for those contractors that said it could not be fixed! Another note: I had a plumber come out in the past who claimed he could clear my drain for $49.00 here on Citysearch. My final bill for that same job->$209.00 This time Charlie cleared another sink drain for free while he was here and it was no charge! more

Thank goodness Charlie Hall is still plumbing in Portland! I have used this plumber for many years now and his level of expertise is unmatched by ANY other plumber or shop! Honest up front pricing and the information he gives you makes sense. Charlie finds ways to save me money without sacrificing quality. When it comes to my family and friends I always reccomend Charlie especially for those special jobs. The old plumbing that alot of the new plumbers arent familiar with is his specialty. Heck he has told me how to make small adjustments over the phone to save me a call! more

Charlie fixed EVERY plumbing problem in my house for a very fair price and did a great job!! He's a wonderful guy, gave me excellent advice and will be highly recommended to everyone I know. I will definitely have him back when I remodel the kitchen. more

He did a big job for us after quoting a VERY reasonable price. Overcharged for his accompanying workers (same as himself, but with 1/4 the skill), then after job was complete and issues with his work came up, he never called me back after 9 attempts. This was 2 1/2 years ago and still nothing. His work ended up costing us as much as the most expensive bid we originally got. Not a bad guy, but make sure you have EVERYTHING in writing, including a warranty for his work. Pros: knows plumbing Cons: Bit of a scammer, overcharges, 9 calls with no call back. more

We have used Charlie several times. He replumbed our house for $9,000 less than the other quotes we got. On that job, he did several extras that we did not even ask to have done. He replaced our old tub with a shower, and we have used him for various clogs and such. I would highly recommend Charlie. Pros: Cheapest, punctual, friendly, thorough Cons: None more

I highly recommend using Charlie Hall Plumbing! I priced several plumbers in the area and they were by far(!) the cheapest and they don't charge a travel fee. Everyone I worked with was wonderful and the plumber (Alan) was professional, efficient, and nice. I needed to replace some parts in my toilet and other plumbing companies were going to charge me close to $150 (not including parts) but Charlie Hall Plumbing only charged me $76 including parts! more
