Never had a problem. Fixed my Chain Saw while I waited - less than $25 after someone I lent it to ran it with the chain on backwards... more

I find it awfully funny how people can write a bad review of Aldridge and Chambers, I've been dealing with them off and on since 2001 and I have never had a problem, granted I have NEVER taken a pos Ryobi to them for repair, but I bought a Stihl Chain saw at a pawn shop and they sold me parts for it with no problem, I needed a new chain brake and the service advisory told me EXACTLY how to install it. The only reason repairs take so long is they are a busy shop with a LOT of work, that is first come first served......duh.\r \r Here's an update on them too, I just bought a Stihl 55R weed eater form there for $219 and the salesperson was one of the best I have ever dealt with, he acted like I knew what I was looking for and helped me find exactly what I wante din a trimmer, he also offered me any and all accessories that I needed for my new weedeater.\r Any of you who write a bad review of Aldridge and Chambers need a cup of coffee to wake up more

Stay Away 9/19/2011

Stay away, this place is horrible! The service manager is a complete ass. He has no idea how to run a shop. Even the most common repairs takes weeks (4-6 wks average). When mistakes are made, and they will make mistakes, the service manager will lie to your face and give you an attitude the entire time. The general manager, Eric, is just as bad if not worse. This place has completely gone into the toilet since he has taken over. How he has not been fired is beyond me, the owners must be even more clueless than their employees! I have witnesses employees using aerosol cans as blow torches chasing each other around the sales floor while the fire marshall was doing a fire/safety inspection!!!! Complete unprofessionals all the way around. There is a reason Toro quit doing business with them as well as most lawn/landscaping professionals, such as myself. Stay away from these clowns. BTW...anyone writing positive reviews about this place on this website are obviously owners and/or employees and/or friends of the owners & employees. Ten years as a landscaping professional, I have never heard a positive comment about this place unless it was intended as a JOKE! Do I need to say more? more

A great result. 4/5/2011

My tractor was giving me problems by stopping every few mins. just as if it Was running out of gas. I phoned Aldridge and Chambers expecting the tractor would have to be picked up to be worked on, but the person who answered the phone told me to wash my gas cap and to dry it well; which I did. My tractor back to running smoothly. I am so pleased to encounter such a good store. more

Terrible Service manager 10/27/2010

Ridiculous. They fix my riding mower and deliver to my house when I was not there, as agreed beforehand. They tie the replaced part to the back of the mower without telling me. I did not see the used parts tied on. I use the mower and while backing up run over the replaced blades. Consequently I ruin the new set of blades. I call service manager and he says that it is no one's fault. Huh? If they had told me they were going to tie the old parts on the back, I would have taken them off. The service manager is so stupid that he does not realize that the company screwed up. Never will use them again. more

Classic Morons 9/6/2010

These guys can't fix anything right. I brought in a Ryobi weed eater to fix because it wouldn't start.\r \r They took three weeks and then called me and told me my weed eater was fixed.\r \r I picked it up and paid $39.00 for the repair.\r \r When I got home it didn't work. So I brought it back and told them that it won't start. Another three weeks later they called me and told me it was fixed. I had to pay another $15.00 for service charge.\r \r When I got home I had the same problem.\r \r So once again I returned it for repair.\r \r Two weeks later I went to pick up my weed eater and the guy told me that it needed parts that were no longer available.\r \r So now I'm out $54.00 and I can't use my weed eater.\r \r If they tried to fix it the first time, they would have found the problem and realized that it was not repairable.\r \r I asked for my money back since they took 8 weeks and did not fix the weed eater. \r \r I was told that I was not entitled to a refund because they had to put parts into the weed eater.\r \r I told them to keep the weed eater for parts and give me my money back. \r At this point the guy basically told me to get lost. \r \r I will never go to this place again. They ripped me off. more

Lowe's don't know squat! 1/30/2010

Lowe's won't FIX your mower, they don't KNOW your mower, why would you BUY a mower from somebody who sells paint, nails, bath tubs, etc.??? Would you buy a car from Walmart? Pros: Been doing lawn & power equipment forever more

Worst Lawn and Garden Shop 11/13/2008

i went to have my equipment repaired at this lawn and garden shop and there backlog was over two months. so i decided i would go to look at getting a new piece of equipment and i looked and none of the employees wanted to assist me like those of Land & Coates. I prefer Land & Coates because they have plenty of service associated to help you and there backlogs for service are short with the best customer service in the area. All in all Aldridge is not my choice in Outdoor Power Equipment. So i recommend going down the street to Land & Coates on Bonney Road if you are in need of parts, sales, or service. Cons: parking and service more

Aldridge & Chambers - There are still a few honest and uncompromising businesses out there.. 2/13/2008

After a neighbor's tree dropped a 100 lb.dead branch on the right side (hammering the key-start and bending over 180 degrees both the speed control & blade-engage levers) of a John Deere RX-75 riding mower, I contacted Aldridge & Chambers for a repair estimate, anticipating insurance would cover the work. Although the insurance company deftly dodged the claim, Mr. Aldridge responded personally, and a detailed estimate was faxed to me promptly. I couldn't have asked for a better or more thorough estimate.\r \r Although the insurance company dodged the claim, it was the experience that introduced me to, and the reason I consider Aldridge & Chambers the best in the business. Not only was I treated extremely well and courteously before any agreements had been made, but there has never been any of the usual creative and sneaky invoicing that is standard practice at almost every establishment in which wrenches and spare parts are found.\r \r I cannot recommend Aldridge & Chambers highly enough.\r more
