Zig's Dairy Stand

Zigs opened for their new season this year featuring Gyros, Brats and hot dogs along with their usual fair of ice cream and their locally famous milk shakes. Zigs is an old fashioned ice cream stand, you park, you go up to a window and the friendly staff takes your order. The service has always been pleasant in my experience, the stand is very clean, and there is parking, though on hot summer evenings it can get a bit tight. For me, there is nothing like their thick chocolate shakes. And their ice cream is the soft serve kind - I like mine chocolate in a chocolate sunday. Always ample sauce, always served with a spoon and a napkin. Thick shakes, great ice cream and now gyros on their luncheon menu. A great place to stop and get a treat or a quick meal more

One of the best places in Mansfield to go for a milkshake or ice cream cone. They offer other food, such as hot dogs and things like that, but I have only gotten the ice cream. more

Zig's milkshake is the best milkshake in the area. From the Georgia Peach (which tastes like it was picked just minutes before being handed to you.) to the Peanut Butter (Which is so thick you can"t use a straw for you must have a spoon.) their milkshakes are among the best I have ever tasted. Plus they are very cheap. more
