I had chipped my front tooth a few weeks ago and although it didn't hurt much, it looked bad and started staining immediately. I hate going to the dentist, and it had been over a year since I last had a check-up, x-rays, and cleaning. At my previous dentists, it would have taken a over a month to get in and multiple appts. to get all my issues covered. Dr. Zhao's office scheduled me within two weeks--I didn't request an emergency appointment, just a ""soonish"" one--and all my issues were taken care of in a fast, professional manner. I arrived early for my appointment and was seen on time. The ultrasonic mouth debridement /scaling/planing was less painful than a previous, purely manual non-ultrasonic one I had elsewhere. I didn't need novocaine, though the doctor offered it before he began. My gums were a bit sore the day after the deep cleaning, but within a few days I've noticed the tender areas of my gums no longer bleed while flossing, and my teeth not only look, but also feel much cleaner. He explained all the cost options for fixing my broken incisor, and his bonding work looks better than what I'd had done years ago at a fancier ""cosmetic"" dentistry office. And I received my x-rays, gum pocket measurements, and hygienist's polishing, as well as the deep cleaning and bonding, all in one appointment, although the receptionist had told me when I first booked it that if my problems were too extensive, a second appointment would be needed. Gladly, that was not the case. Overall, compared with my prior dental experience, I'm very happy with Dr. Zhao's office and the care I received there. I am already scheduled for a six-month check-up--the first time I've ever felt confidence enough in a dentist to book a follow-up. more

i am surprise what other user said. dr zhoa is the best. he did so many things in my mouth and all turn out successful. matter of fact, everyone in my office is seeing him. everyone is happy with his works. maybe the other user confused with dr zhoa and his associate. i do highly recommend dr zhao if you looking for a dentist. I went to Dr Edward Zhoa's office for a filling on 3/27 at 230pm. The next 2 days I was in excrutiating pain and very visible swelling. (I took pics)I callled the dentist to and the receptionist offered me prescription pain killers. I said no, I need a diagnosis, someone has to see it, there is something wrong. So I went in on Thursday 3/29 at 1230pm. Dr Zhoa told me I need a root canal and prescriptions. I started to cry and he left the room. No tissue, no Im sorry, nothing. He just waited in another room for me to stop crying. The work done on 3/27 caused an infection and now i need a root canal. When I asked him who will be paying the $1000, he said that insurance and I will have to. I told him that he made the infection and I shouldnt be the one paying. He told me,` we'll see!`. I went to the doctor he refered me to and they told me that I dont need a root canal at all. I need teeth removed because when they game me the injection, they really did some damage. He told me to tell that to the doctor who would be removing my teeth. He has misdiagnosed me 2 times and with a huge amount of damage to my face and my wallet. I have now lost 2 days of work, and have to pay for someone elses mistake? I have called him twice and recieved no word back. Third time I called, he was there, but couldnt get to the phone. SO, i went down there. He saw me and went in the back and hid. My only option was to talk to the admisistative assinstant which I didnt want to do because there were patients in the waiting room. Finally he comes out and tells me to stop talking and thtat he doesnt want to hear it! He isnt listening to what the other doctor said has to be done and doesnt want to hear the diagnosis, he just wants me out! This guy is a quack! Pros: location Cons: Hes a monster! more
