This is my place to go for any of my tattoo work. I haven't ventured out to piercings, but if I ever do, I will definitely go to Zebra. Great people. Great shop. Pros: null ...

Swim meet treat 8/18/2011

17 of us traveled from the mid-west for a swim meet and on our last day we wanted to treat ourselvesto something memorable. We did some researh and decided the best place to get tattooed was Zebra. We all went in there and got tattooed. Staff were so nice and fun. Artists werequick and great. They were so busy but they stayed late to take care of all of us. Thanks so much Zebra. more

On Point 8/16/2011

Rosey is the only girl I've been to, she's done all my piercings in the last year. Not once have I gotten an infection or have it not heal properly. She is on point and knows exactly what she's doing. I'm going back for my industrial in a couple of weeks. more

Come on a Sat or Sun and ask for Jose! He does the best graffiti style tattoos, he's done my entire sleeve and part of my back. I'm definitely coming back to him to finish my back. more

Perfection 8/3/2011

I came for a total of 4 times in the past several months trying to finish my sleeve. The guys/gals here are the chilliest I've seen, they hold great conversations and don't just talk to whoever they work with. The whole shop is one big open forum and people talk to everyone. My sleeve turned out amazing, the shadows were perfect and colors were spot on. Intricate details of the scales of my Koi and dragons were done to perfection, I can't thank you guys enough! more

Best Body Piercers, Tattoo Artists and fun people watching!! 4/25/2008

I LOVE ZEBRA!! I started going to Zebra when I was just a tween, then a teen and of course when I was in college. I am now officially an adult, eeks. So now I look for any excuse to take my nieces (birthdays, good report cards, basically anything) I am now the family advocate for when someone needs a hole poked or some body art, because everyone knows I turned out alright, right! Pros: clean, safe, great cusomer service and extremely knowlegable staff. Cons: crowded on week-ends (you may have to wait for your holes) more

Best Tattoo & Piercing In The Bay Area 2/29/2008

I've been a piercing & tattoo customer at Zebra for the past 7 years. I can not be more impressed by how friendly & professional the staff at Zebra have been. This is a very busy place but somehow they always are able to deliver quality work & customer service. Most of my piercings are done by Kerri and tattoos by Stash. I travel a lot and I'm so amazed that even in other Cities & States I run across people that talk or know about Zebra in Berkeley. Love My Butterfly Tattoo by Olmy ;) 3/26/2006

Olmy is hot and so damn cute! One of the sweetest guys I have ever met! He made me feel so comfortable. Aside from the mushy stuff ;) Olmy gave me such a beautiful butterfly tattoo. I didn't even realize until I got home that he had drawn a heart in the wings of the butterfly which made me love it more! It is even just worth the trip to go there and say "hello". more

first and last place 12/30/2005

zebras was the first place i ever got a tattoo, about 10 years ago, and still looks good, i just recently went back to get it touched up after so long, but it really didn't need it that much.....i have gotten a couple of more over the past couple of years and the artists have been reasonably priced...I have gotten on piercing there and it was a very comfortable experience even though the piercing wasn't in a that comfortable of a place on my body. I got my naval pierced there and they are awesome. The owner was so friendly and helpful and they made sure I knew how to take care of everything before I walked out the door. I was a little scared at first but they made me feel really comfortable and it was pain free. I love Zebra and will go back when I need another piercing or a tatoo! Recommended for everyone! I have had two tattoo's done at Zebra's and will be having another done soon. The very talented Olmy is the guy. He is phenomenal---you're lucky if you can have his work done on you. Navel Piercing 8/27/2003

I got my navel pierced at Zebra's, at first it was hard to find someone who would help me, I had to stand there waiting before someone actually said hello. But when I got to the cashier, he was extremely friendly, and made the experience a bit better. However, when I got inside the room, the piercer barely said two word to me, he told me to stand still, then lay down. That was it no warning, nothing...but I have to admit it was over in a few seconds. Cons: Parking more
