We saw that this place had been ranked the #1 burger in Charleston for the past 4+ years. We also heard that it was kind of a hole in the wall so we weren't sure if we wanted to try it. Since we knew what to expect going in, we figured why not! When we got there it was very small town dinery right in the middle of Charleston. The servers were little old ladies who were a little slow, but SO sweet. The place is adorned with people's signatures, on the tables, on the booths, and on dollar bills that covered the walls. We ordered burgers, of course, and fries. They took a little time to cook, but were well worth the wait. They came out on paper plates, but the taste was all that mattered to us. They were the best burgers we have ever eaten, and the fries were just ok. It was very affordable at about $5 per burger, and about $3 for the huge plate of fries. This is a definite must see if you don't mind a quirky atmosphere.
