Young's was easy to find and only a short distance from my home.As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by one of the many friendly staff members. Young's employees were very helpful, and took the time to walk me through the nursery helping me chose plants that were not only beautiful but exactly what I needed. I never felt rushed to pushed to buy anything. With the help and advice from the knowledgible staff I was able to find wonderful perinnials that are now flourishing in my yard. The prices are a little higher than the ""box"" stores, but the shopping experience makes it well worth it. Pros: Costomer Service, Variety Cons: Higher Prices more

Great Customer Service 6/16/2008

I visited Young's Garden Center on Saturday. Even though there were a lot of customers there I was greeted personally by Tom Young who told me all about the new plant selections in stock. I really appreciate that there is a family run nursery nearby where I can get some of the harder to find perennials I like to purchase for my garden. The prices are a bit higher than the mega-stores, but I feel I am getting the quality and variety I'm looking for that can't be found at the other stores. Pros: Customer Service, Variety more

Never Again 10/15/2007

I totally agree with the other comment made. Youngs was definately easy to find but was outrageous on their prices and quality of plants and materials. Their customer service was terrible. This used to be a ""good"" store from what I hear. Very christian and family oriented. However, I fully disagree. The experience felt more like a greedy game rather than anything else. I must say that you are definately not paying for what you get. I saw the same materials and plants at another retail shop for 60% less. Can we say MARK UP??!!! Unbelievable.. you can bet you will never see me there again. For those who have wanted to buy their stuff there...don't make the mistake I did...... Pros: Variety Cons: Everything Else more
