We have been to several shows at York Little Theater - and all have been outstanding! Much better than going to the movies. I would highly recommend it!

Worst

don't bother auditioning at this theater, unless you want to play charades, they pre-cast their productions, then pretend to have auditions, nothing but a bunch of snobs, no wonde...

Local Thespians 8/19/2005

I love The York Little Theater, my first taste of theater beyond school plays was YLT. I've always thought the exterior really could have been spruced up a tad, but once you enter you will shortly be in another world thanks to some wonderful local performers. It was exciting my first visit at age 12 and now I'm 44 and it is still a thrill everytime I go! I would love to take my family all through the year, sadly this is not in my budget at this time. It is fun to go with a few friends or family. more

York Little Theater offers live community theater for patrons of all ages! Offerings throughout the year range from holiday performances to Broadway staples. The atmosphere is energetic and when you walk in, you know you're in for a treat! Great for family outings or just an evening out for a couple! more

Turn off the TV! 7/27/2005

An inexpensive family entertainment alternative. The shows aren't professional but they are entertaining. They do a very good job for a local theater. They also offer a children's theater series. It's a great way to start the kids. The seating for these shows are general admission so get there in plenty of time to grab a seat. more

Great night out 7/9/2005

The York Little Theatre is a local theatre that has many productions throughout the year. It is low cost and the quality of the performances is superb. I have seen many plays there and have enjoyed them all. I would highly recommend this theater to anyone and the staff is always kind and willing to help. more

Great Entertainment 6/15/2005

This is the Best place in this area to see a good theatrical performance with very talented actors and actresses. When you watch a show here you feel like you are actually part of the set. Right there part of the event that is being acted out. Go check it out. more
