I had to withdraw my 4 yr old son from the summer day camp. My son had heat exhaustion from being outside on a 90 degree day with minimal water. They were supposively letting the children play in the sprinkers and play water games. Unfortunately that was not being done. They were being sent outside for 30-40 minutes according to the Executive Director of the YMCA Childrens Center in Woburn Ma, and the teachers never put the sprinklers on. My son was physically sick when I picked him and his teacher of 15 plus years experience didn't even notice. It was horrific looking at my son in that condition. The Director and Executive Director were notified; they stated that changes would be implemented immediately. Unfortunately a little too late. PLEASE be careful when leaving your child in the care of ""supposively"" reputable people.
