I have enjoyed eating lunch here over the years, while I am at the shore, but my last visit in August 2006 was a little disappointing food wise. It was essentially unremarkable, except for a cup of Manhattan Clam Chowder which was excellent. Looking around at other dishes it seemed kind of [again] unremarkable and plain. The ambiance is neat, clean, seafood/shore style [mounted fish etcetera]. Casual dinning, nice wrap-around full-service bar. Strangely, you must pay your bar tab in cash, and the food service to the bar is separately serviced by wait staff. They are not rude, but they are generally busy. I usually get the impression that the place is a little cliquey with the regulars [boaters and such that come in for a quick drink and lunch]. There are a couple of arcade games in the front host area, and there is a package store next door. Overall it is a nice, decent restaurant and bar, but it isnt necessarily anything to write home about as of August 2006.
Pros: Nice clean place in a fun location. Full service, wrap-around bar and outside deck.
Cons: Food taste and presentation nothing special
