I was devastated by the service I had with Yavapai Plumbing and Heating. I'm a teacher, so I have very limited funds. I'm a single mom, and I don't know a lot about furnaces. My heating in the winter and now air conditioning in the summer was not working. I called the company, because a really nice man had helped me out about two years ago. I just wanted to check on rates and a man named Trevor said he would be over the next day. He assured me he would give me a quote before doing anything or charging anything. I made that clear, because I have been taken advantage of in the past. He stayed a maximum of 15 minutes, changed the batteries on my furnace wall unit because unbeknownst to me, that was the only problem. My furnace had no problems. He told me I owed him $240, but if I paid him $150, he would give me a deal and sign me up for some kind of annual package with his company. I wondered how he could charge me so much for just putting in 2 AAA batteries. I asked him who the manager or owner of the company was, but he refused to give me that information. He was rude and disrespectful. He stormed out angrily and told me that I would never be able to get service from his company again. I almost never write negative reviews for companies. This is the exception.
