Friday was my first experience dining at Yanni's. We had barely taken our seats when our first complimentary shot of Uzo arrived. We started with the combination platter to taste a variety of offerings. This came with Loukaniko(greek sausage with lemon), kalamaria(calimari), spanakopita, Kalamata olives, dolmades(stuffed grape leaves), Feta cheese, cucumbers, and tzatziki sauce. I thought the spanakopita was very good and the combination of sausage and feta was great. For entrees we tried the sliced lamb cooked on an outdoor grill, and two of the evening's specials: the lamb shank (which literally fell off the bone) and the veal chop stuffed with spinach, cheese, and walnuts. All were good. The wine list features many greek wines (most in the $25-$40 range). For dessert we tried the tasty home made yogurt with honey & walnuts. Finished off with some strong greek coffee. Service was friendly and helpful. We'll be back!
