An exceptional restaurant at almost impossible to believe prices especially at LUNCH TIME. The special pricing during lunch time is also good on WEEKENDS! Full teppan and other menu items with show. Cooked to your specifications and the food is prime. Steaks seafood and all the accouterments of a Japanese teppan house with really attentive service. The meals are filling and tasty.. .not a bad word to say even after 15-20 visits. The only downside as in all restaurants of this kind is the seating is not very amenable to talking to you friends. You sit side by side except at the corner of the table. But who can talk when their is good food in front of you.. Pros: Great Japanese food with a flair with very low prices at lunch Cons: none that mean a thing. more

Awesome, wonderful place to visit with nice decoration restaurant and the service is the best in orangecounty. Server so good they thread you like five star service and the food is really yummy especially teppan. We went to this restaurant for our anniversary. I had never been to this style of restaurant before and was pleasantly surprised. My husband had been to Benihana and felt it was as good if not better, and much better priced. I will go there again! Pros: Easy access from the freeway, good value Cons: None more

Yamato's is a wonderful place to take someone for their birthday, or just an evening out. The food is delicious, service was great, and it's beautiful inside. They have a "special occasion package" for $4.50 and they come and sing with masks, bring fruit, and take a picture of the group to send home with the person being celebrated. The sushi was great too, although we only tried California Rolls. The prices are better than Benihana's which makes it so you can easily go on a casual night out as well. Pros: inexpensive teppan cooking with absolutely awesome tasting food! Cons: no cons more
