The YWCA Child Center is a year-round, full-service child program that also serves as a 4-year-old kindergarten site for the School District of La Crosse. The center, located on the western Technical Colleg Campus, also provides a lab school enviroment for the college`s Erly Childhood Education program. Research shows that children learn best through play, and YWCA Child Center strives to provide children with the oportunity to make choices and decisions about play throughout their day. The YWCA Child Center will use the flexible Schedule to help your child to have a good day. A child will be able to experience group and invidual activities, creative expressions, active and quiet times, out door play an intelectual estimulation throughout the day.
