Wynnsong brings back memories of high school days...unfortunately, this is because nothing has changed since then. I used to go to Wynnsong back when I didn't have a car or a choice as to what theatre I got to go to. They do have most of the new releases, but the theatre is pretty crappy itself. It's surrounded by a lot of other businesses, so it can be convenient if you're in the area already, but they just really need to revamp the place to get a better clientele. more

When you compare the Wynnsong location with other movie places in Durham, it looks pretty bad. Even though it's closer to me than any other movieplex, I'd rather drive the extra distance to go to a much nicer theatre. It's just old and the people who run it don't seem to have made an effort to keep it up even minimally. I'd go somewhere else to see your movies, more

Crumbling wreck 1/22/2006

Wynnsong was nice when it opened years ago. Today it shows age and poor upkeep. I see 2-3 shows a year at Wynnsong because it is closest to my house. Screens may be patched or have stains. Sound quality is poor, speakers popping and or buzzing. Lobby dirty, men's bathrooms worse than a college bar. No credit cards accepted and there is a too-high fee for debit cards ( you pay it twice if you go to the snack bar too). This theater could be fixed . It is definitely in need of new management or new operating budget. more

Not too luxurious, but the right price 9/2/2005

This is a fine movie theatre with a good selection of movies and nice theatres. It is not as glamorous as some other places, but it is not too expensive and usually not quite as crowded as some other places. Not too many thrills, but you don't really need that at the movies do you? more
