A newer hotel and I always feel like it's trying to rip off the superior Bellagio. Still it's worth a visit when walking the strip. Grab a cocktail too at the lantern cafe. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/28/2013

I loved staying at the Wynn. The hotel is very comfortable and seemingly not as trashy feeling as some hotels and casinos in Vegas. The decor is nice and not cheesy and the restaurants and cafes in the hotel are delicious (overpriced in my opinion, but it's Vegas...) I love their Parasol bar and the little show that comes on every so often outside in the lake. It's a little trippy, but kind of neat too. more

Incredible Service 7/13/2011

Our service was great and the waiter was adorable. Ambiance was romantic and definitely recommended. For the music,,,I would recommend jazz or house and the people were cool. Portions were good. more

We thought we found a great place to stay. 7/9/2011

Okay, great looking hotel. Not the wife and I's first time there. A couple of things have changed... First of all at least one of our nights there we usually eat at the buffet for the king crab. Now you get snow crab... NOT the same. We have been to the resort a couple of times now and we thought that we found great place. Thursday night july 7th we hit the sack about 11pm. we could hear a slight thumping from music. The sleep timer on the TV went off about midnight we quickly realized the beach club music thumping our bed... Mind you the beach club is by the encore and we were in the wynn. ABOUT 4:30am the thumping stopped when the beach club shut down..... We thought we found a great place to stay. more

Best club in Vegas! 10/2/2009

Blush is my favorite nightclub to go to in Vegas because of the classy enviornment. The staff is so friendly and always makes sure you're taken care of. The music always keeps me dancing, and the layout of the club is perfect to enjoy a good time with friends. more

Second Only t Second Only To Four Seasons 3/5/2009

Wynn Las Vegas is excellent from top to bottom. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed. The property is very easy to navigate, and guest services are excellent as well. Wynn has a dazzling array of restaurants, although some may find too few affordable dining options.I'm making my second visit in three months in February more

As fake as the people impressed by it... 2/12/2009

Creating a lot of hype telling everyone how luxurious and great something is, doesn't\r make it so. Being expensive doesn't mean its class, nor in good taste. The place \r simply tries too hard and thus ends up being gaudy. It tends to attract the wannabe \r posers who actually think that luxury and class = $$$$. What some fail to comprehend\r is that social and economic class are 2 very different things, a pimp in a \r gaudy suit and big car may be rich and project wealth, but definitely not class. Cons: The couldn't afford the rooms and restaurants yet act as if they own the place, the crowd is very obnoxious, the hotel tries too hard more

Hmm, how bad can things get at this hotel? Let me count the ways: 1/20/2009

Hmm, how bad can things get at this hotel? Let me count the ways:\r \r 1) We were invited as casino guests, 3 nights, Fri-Mon this past weekend. My husband is like Super Elite at Silver Legacy, which is how I think they got our name. \r \r Nevertheless, we were dumped at the bottom category room, which if you've been around in this life, you'd totally know that the Wynn's decor is the ""trying hard"" to look as if it's a Philippe Starck, but has IKEA artwork on the walls instead. Completely disgusting! Who cares if our room had their front and center view of the strip, blah, blah, it SUCKED nevertheless!!!!!\r \r 2) Same weekend, we also hosted a party for our closest relatives to celebrate our 90 year old aunt's birthday at one of their Fairway Villas. The one that costs over $3K a night and about 2500 sq ft. Except for being their super high roller, like spend $5K at the roll of every roulette wheel, these rooms were their very second best.\r \r It was big, blah, blah. Decor was a bit better, but still transparently ""fake"", not even tastefully fake, mind you. And the catered food was ok.\r \r All in all, quite uneventful. We all had a lot of fun at the party, mind you, but that's not due to the hotel. That was just good company.\r \r I can write more, but I'm just so bored with this place. \r \r Don't bother going! If you want a hotel at the strip, The Venetian has larger, better rooms all around. more

Hot Spot 1/6/2009

Beautiful and expensive. Great place for enjoying nightlife and the view. The club inside is spectacular and very very popular...so much that after waiting 30 minutes in an un-moving line and packed groups of people inside and out, we had to leave. Sadly.... more

Coolest hotel in Vegas so far! 4/30/2008

Wynn is just a terrific hotel! It has everything just right - the interior, service, shops, restaurants and even La Reve' show is great. It is cool and bright, modern with a hint of a conservatism - just perfect. The old and smelly carpets so characteristic for Vegas hotels in general substituted by a tasteful mosaics. Abundance of beautiful flower arrangements...First time I have stayed at Wynn in the summer of 2005, it was perfect. Three years later it is even better than before. In addition, there is a bridge to Palazzo that connects you with Venetian and the rest of the strip. The only disappointment was when I have learned that one of my favorite pastry shops at Wynn that had real Chocolate Fontaine was closed. Oh well, I am sure Wynn will come up with something to make up for it. Pros: Pretty much all Cons: Pastry Shop wth Chocolate Fontaine is no longer there more

IF YOU INSIST ON DINING AT THE WINN BUFFET, YOU WILL BE LET DOWN 8/9/2007

A good friend and I decided to try Winn's Buffet for an early dinner on Sunday (early August '07). I read a few reviews for the buffet and overall, they seemed to speak well of the food quality, so I agreed and we paid something like $38.00 each. \r Bottom Line: The King Crab Legs were quite bland in flavor, as if they were steamed up hours earlier and kept on ice. I was really looking forward to enjoying a dozen legs or so but stopped after eating just two. \r \r In my opinion, the salad bar didn't offer anything special, so I just made a basic salad. Their greens were not crisp and the dressing tasted like the bottled stuff you get at the market. \r \r Then I figured I'd go for the old stand-by, a nice turkey dinner from their fresh roasted whole turkey with all the trimmings. Again, the turkey, both the light and dark meat was very dry, and even extra gravy didn't help. \r \r I nibbled on a few of their other selections without enjoying anything. Then I grabbed a couple of deserts which were more limited then other hotel buffets serve to end it all. \r \r We will never try The Winn Buffet again. \r \r We should have returned to the Spice Market Buffet in the old Aladdin Hotel and Casino which turned hands earlier in 2007 and is now housed within Planet Hollywood (on the Strip / Las Vegas Blvd). Spice Market is RATED #1 AGAIN this year and I have eaten there twice and loved it both times. It's a shame that such a fine looking hotel as Winn's can't deliver a quality buffet. Winn's buffet is way overpriced for what they are serving. \r \r I would have rather lost my money at the tables and eaten at Fat Burger down the road. more

Wynn Hotel employees are freaked out control freaks 7/30/2007

But I bet that comes down from the top. from Steve Wynn himself. \r They are rude and snobby. And control-freaky. more

sewer problems 7/9/2007

I stayed in the tower suites for one week the week of july 4th. the front desk is at a different entrance and is private and quiet and good service. the hotel is far above the rest on the strip allthough i cant say how they compare with their 5 star competition. i spent time at the european pool and it is nice but needs more shaded spots.\r \r we ate at SW and Daniel B and they were both very good with good srvice. In all the stay was very nice but with one lingering issue. don't stay in suite 2309 or close to it. the bathroom smelled like a sewer. most of it was contained to the bathroom but even when you would walk into the hotel room you could smell it. i told them when we checked out and they thanked me for telling them but no discount for my inconvienience. more

disaster- ruined my vacation 6/4/2007

HORRIBLE experience with check in experience, housekeeping and manager on call. The several problems were never resolved. Several promises by management to rectify problem were broken. I think that the general management seems to have a God complex. I will never go back even if someone paid me to go there. Beautiful hotel but I would rather be treated decently. Pros: beautiful decor Cons: Horrible communication between staff. I waited 6 hours for resolution of a problem and I finally gave up. more

A calm cool oasis 3/27/2007

Pre-show drinks at Parasol Up. The space is open to the gaming floor, but the heavy drapery and great DJ mutes the floor sounds and surrounds you in a pleasant atmosphere. Service was good as were the drinks. Highly recommended. Pros: Nice sounds and atmosphere yet still connected to the gaming floor action. Cons: Popular and crowded at prime times more
