Wvec-Tv Channel 13

I contacted WVEC and left message regarding lack of signal after years of viewing. No response to my message and no signal after 2 days of scans and attempts to watch WVEC. Called again and spoke to tech. manager, I was told. He was extremely condescending, tried to say it is my antenna's fault even though we have been watching for years wit this antenna. He insisted on talking over me as I tried to explain my efforts to receive the signal and the fact that WVEC's signal had slowly diminished over 3 day period. Scans, I did 4, picked up 49 stations, not one of them a WVEC signal. He kept talking, "you wouldn't put 20 inch tires on a car that takes 15 inch tires, would you?", and other comments as if I am an "ignoramous". Oh well, there are lots of other stations we can watch. Can Wayne Carter stop whining about about eveything, its almost disappointing to watch him deliver the news. ex. Snow report// when he was out in the snow, you almost felt sorry for him complaining about the cold vs the other reporters delivering the conditions. Just saying, STOP COMPLAINING more

Recently WVEC did a human interest story about pets and the holidays, in this they showed an interview with a 5 year old girl at the SPCA she was looking for a puppy for Christmas. It was very disturbing to see my beautiful baby girl's first and last name posted for any nasty pedophile to have access to. We have been approached by several strangers wanting to know did she get her puppy? The fact that they approached my daughter by her name horrifies me to NO END!! It has turned what should have been a great little experience into a nightmare of fear and anger. The fact that you have exposed my child to all of Virginia angers me. Next time you may not want to make it so easy for the bad guys to get close with a name, how do I teach her to beware of strangers when they know her full name?? more
