Best

This is my husband and I's favorite chinese resturant we will not go anywhere else. Try the sesame beef and the general tsou you will not be disappointed. Pros: Everything!! ...

Worst

I ate at Wu's twice, at two seperate locations. It was far too greasy for my liking...to the point that it left a slick film on my lips-kind of like melted chapstick. Perhaps that...

It started with bad food and ended with bad service... 7/30/2011

Though never a restaurant to be listed as one of the best Americanized Chinese restaurants around, Wu's was consistent. We always order pickup and today we ordered mostly things we would usually order. Sweet and sour chicken, green beans in black bean sauce, and a sweet & spicy shrimp dish. The only thing edible was the steamed rice. The sweet & sour chicken was a sloppy mess and the breading was basically slime falling from the pieces of chicken. In the past it has been served dry with the sweet and sour sauce on the side. The sweet and spicy shrimp was just spicy and the green beans were questionable at best. Upon calling to complain and request a refund, I am passed to a manager who goes on to explain that there is a difference between lunch and night menu items. Not just in quantity, but also in preparation. What the hell? Who sells their customer one menu item on lunch and a totally different item of the same name at night? I tell him I want to bring the food back for a refund and he wants to scrutinize if we had drank from the drinks, how much of the food had been eaten, etc. I admit, I turned into an a**hole at this point. What kind of prick treats their customers this way. You might get marginal quality from these jerks for a while, but if you ever have to complain about the food, don't plan on any kind of customer service. They will take any complaint personally and become confrontational about compensation for poor quality product and service. Unfortunately, there isn't much on the way of decent Asian food in the King City area. But honestly, the food in this place isn't any better than Panda Express down the street. So if you want good Chinese food go to Republic Cafe in Portland. If you want chinese food in King City, go to Panda Express. more

BEST EVER 6/14/2010

This is my husband and I's favorite chinese resturant we will not go anywhere else. Try the sesame beef and the general tsou you will not be disappointed. Pros: Everything!! Cons: Can't think of any more

Best in Portland Area, Hands Down! 2/8/2006

Excellent...If you have eaten Chinese food all over the world and truly know what good is, Wu's is your place. I have not found better Chinese in the area. Those who have written poor reviews I can assume have only lived in one place their entire life. For the value, excellent service, and atmosphere I rate this and A-plus. You will not find better in the PDX area....Oh yeah....I forgot to mention...I Chinese and from China :) Pros: Value, Service, Great Food more

Wu's is the best chinese food in Portland Area. 10/7/2005

I have been eating at Wu's for years now. The first time I went was when I was about 17 or so and the only resturant they had was the one resturant in LO. I have always really liked their food, and that is what brings me back again and again. I have eaten at many a chinese resturaunts in the portland area and they are hands down the best. I would recommend them to anyone and I am actually going today to eat lunch there. Pros: Great atmosphere, Food is excellent, Nice customer service Cons: Can get a little, noisy on weekends more

Best Chinese Food In Town!!!! 7/29/2005

It is really cool how you can see the chef making the food through a glass window. Awesome food! But i must warn you,you will probably gain 5 pounds in 1 visit. more

Average, at best 3/24/2003

Wu's food is average at best. A lot of people seem to really like it but I can't figure out why. Other than the flashy kitchen there isn't anything to rave about. Pros: flashy kitchen Cons: mediocre food more

Dissapointment 12/5/2002

I was not impressed. The food had little flavor other than salt. Pros: cool kitchen Cons: poor food more

All enclusive dining experience 11/9/2002

Wu's Open Kitchen, is probably the best chinese restaurant in town that will not compromise your dining experience by a bill. There are 4 locations that make it easier to enjoy gormet chinese food. If you are looking for an unexpected ""diamond in the rough"" then have your next lunch or dinner at Wu's. Pros: moderate price, great service, open kitchen Cons: tables close together more

Wow! Out of towners 1st Request... 11/9/2002

We've dined at five different Wu's and we have had both exceptional food & service at the King City and TV Hwy locations. The food is consistently of great qulaity. I wouldn't say that the ambiance is in line with a 5 star restraunt however what they lack in ambiance is made up for the mouthwatering dishes. Try the ""Sesame Chicken"" and compliment it with the ""Garlic String Beans"" you won't be disappointed; our out of town guests always request to go back! Pros: Great Food, Dependable, Exceptional Service Cons: Strip mall locations more

It's worth the trip! 11/9/2002

Too greasy and oily 11/9/2002

I ate at Wu's twice, at two seperate locations. It was far too greasy for my liking...to the point that it left a slick film on my lips-kind of like melted chapstick. Perhaps that's the style of their cooking, but I don't feel it should be rated so high! D.R Aloha, Oregon Pros: lots of choices Cons: greasy, greasy, greasy more
