As a mother I am blessed. I feel honored to be a part of my sons biggest Christmas wish. Preston is 12 yrs old. He had to call 911 on the 8th of Nov. I was bleeding through my mouth following a tonsillectomy. Shortly following recovery from what was the most painful procedure I ever endured, I was in an accident which involved me and a teen driver. He pulled out in front of me and I ended up on the sketcher. the events which followed were anything but easy for Preston. On the aftermath he ended up very sick. upper respiratory track infection. I bought him a puppy. The most beautiful face I had ever seen! We presented Gianni to Preston, our new addition to the family. Gianni, the Maltese was infected with PARVO. It was by far the most horrible day of my life! I to had to tell my son his dog was sick. The story is unthinkable, the response from my son? Amazing. Bottom line?
Gianni and Preston are going to accompany me to the local fire station by request of Preston. His Christmas wish is for me to cook a dinner for the crew of heroes who have come to my rescue not once, but twice. Tomorrow Preston and I will be taking the Wellington
Station, near The Wellington Landings Middle School, a dinner to remember! Through it all he is determined to spread love and cheer to those he calls "His true Heroes!!" I am so grateful I was chosen to be Preston's mom. My wish? would be for all children and parents to acknowledge a young mans desire and belief in "Goodwill" despite all challenges he faced. We are dicing and slicing. Preston's face is full of excitement and joy anticipating the response from the 7 fire fighter's covering "The Christmas Shift" awaiting his arrival at 5:30 pm with a meal made with love by thankful hands!! I would be touched if you would consider covering this true moment of Christmas Cheer.
Sincerely,
A Very Blessed Mom,
