I dropped my son's phone off to get a lcd fixed. They said that it would be a day or they would call me to let me know if they needed to order parts. I didn't hear for a few days, so I called, and they said they would order parts. I stopped in a couple of more times and called three times. After 2 1/2 weeks, they said that it wasn't worth fixing. I got this information only after I went to the shop to pick up the still broken phone. more

"TAKEN!' 4/18/2010

I was directed to World Of Wireless after the 'unauthorized' T-mobile of Woodbury, MN referred me there to unlock my phone (b/c the unauthorized T-mobile said that no one else knows the PIN code and that T-mobile customer service wouldn't be able to do anything about it). So, not knowing any better, I went to WOW on the East side of St. Paul and they unlocked my phone. I paid $19.99 for it and trusted them. Today, a week and a half later, I find out that my memory card has been MISSING, and no one has called me from WOW to tell me that they have my missing MEMO CARD!! Argh! So MAD! --YES, THEY HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER! I called and left a message for them to return it. Are they going to say that they don't have it and then sell it for a cheaper price to their customers? Ever wonder why their prices are so cheap?? *sigh* I am so mad! more

I was in desperate need of a new battery for my cell phone and out of all the twin cities stores i called W.O.W. had the battery. They were very friendly at the store and made great conversation. I plan to go back for any further cell phone needs! more

Decent Cell Phone store 8/19/2005

World of wireless has a large selection of phones, plans and services. The staff is helpful, but a little too "salesman" for my liking. Dispite that fact, they helped me get a decent deal on my phone plan and hooked me up with some accessories too. I plan to go in and trade in my phone soon too. I heard they had a service for a phone trade. more

  • There’s nothing fancy about this St. Paul joint overflowing with used and new cell phones. The small space feels more a like pawn shop, where gadget-filled cells sit pretty--and some like broken,...
