World Gym Of Glastonbury

Apparently, I cant give them NO stars. I did not have a problem with them, until I had to cancel. I did not even want to cancel, really. They discontinued babysitting services, so I could no longer use the gym. To cancel, you have to send a certified letter 30 days in advance stating you are canceling. I did not need a certified letter to join??? And this is only if you had been a member for over a year, which I had. I sent a certified letter, and stated that I did not think that I should need the 30 days notice, as it was not my circumstances that caused my cancellation. It was theirs. I never got a response, however, they did take their fee at the beginning of the month. I will be contacting the better business beureau. It is not so much the money, but the gestapo tactics. Choose another gym. I currently go to cardio express in manchester, and it is way better than Wow in almost every way. more

This gym is now under new management and goes by the name WOW (Work Out World). Everything is still the same as it was previously though, however they claim to be getting all new equipment and machines. The stuff they have now is good though...plenty of variety in both the aerobic and strength machines. They have onsite tanning for a fee, childcare, and spinning lessons. Staff is friendly; overall great atmosphere. more
