Highly Satisfied! 7/18/2014

I have been buying and selling children's clothing and equipment in the CS area via consignment for over ten years. I was thrilled when Womb to Grow opened in 2011, and gladly recommend the store for several reasons: service provided by the professional, friendly staff has resulted in consistent sales of my items; the website allows me to access my account inventory online; the cleanliness and creative displays plus the quality of merchandise make both the shopping and consigning experiences enjoyable. Now that W2G also carries women's clothing and accessories, I'm sure we will have a mutually beneficial relationship for many years to come! more

Love love love 9/27/2013

First, to the lady complaining about returning a consigned item: she sold you someone elses item, therefore she already credited their account. It is pretty much common semse to know that consigned items cant be returned. However, you coukd have reconsigned them and waited for them to sell. Anyhow, on to my WONDERFUL experience about WTG, I adore the store, the childrens play area and the variety of things to choose from. I never get cash off my account, I always find something to spend it on. I have got to many consignment stores and most have gone out of business, but not WTG..... because the selection, customer service and wish books keeps us all coming back!!! The only gripe about the new HUGE location is the awful parking. I dont think I will venture to the store as much in bad weather. more

Had exactly what I needed when no one else did 6/9/2013

I desperately needed pants and jackets for my daughter to head for camp. In summer, this is hard to come by. Luckily, Womb to Grow had what I needed and great prices. She tried on several pants and picked two. Then found a light weight water proof jacket. I needed a baby gift and found that also. The lady behind the counter was really helpful and gave lots of suggestions. Everything was in good condition too. We were also able to pick up a cute dress for a party that she was going to also. more

NO RETURNS OR STORE CREDIT AT ALL!!! 4/12/2013

I would leave a zero star if this site would let me!! After trying on numerous over priced dresses, pants and shirts due to being 7 months preggers... I couldn't find anything that fit correctly. So, I decided to look for something for the kids. I figured I may as well buy something for their time and mine. Never once did the gal behind the counter say "make sure to try these on" or "all sales are final" I bought a pair of little girls shoes for our 7 year old and they were the right length but the width was off. I drove all the way downtown again the next day thinking I would return them and pick up one of the dresses which was triple the price of the shoes and move on with life. BUT NO this lady was willing to shove these shoes up my you know what and lose out on a larger sale just to enforce her undisclosed "all sales are final" policy. No wonder all the immigrants own the small businesses in this country... They understand that taking back a $25 pair of kids shoes to sell the mother a $75 dress keep her happy so she keeps coming back is more important than enforcing some ridiculous policy. I will not return to this store ever I will also make sure everyone I know hears about my experience. I will not be surprised if store is gone in a short time with this type of customer service. more

Not child/parent friendly 12/28/2012

For being a consignment store for children's things, the store owner and employees are quite hard on any children and their mothers who come in. They put toys on the floor and then insist that children not touch them. Then they blame the parents if a child accidentally touches or bumps anything. When confronted with these experiences, the owner retaliates rather than seeking to find a solution with parents. Prices are high for consignment and while they may have some cool things, I will never go back. more
