Winters Sheet Metal Heating & Air Conditioning

My heat pump broke during the last snowstorm. Winters HVAC (David, Josh, and Scot, and Angelina in the office) responded quickly despite not previously being my HVAC company. They were willing to fix my heat pump, but proved that it wasn't a good expenditure of funds due to repairs needed, its age, and its use of freon. I didn't want to waste money, but also didn't want to replace my whole HVAC system now. Winters left it up to me (no pressure), but provided an estimate to replace inside and outside units at a reasonable price and arranged rebates and other things that reduced cost and made my new, high quality, highest efficiency HVAC system (with whole house air purifier and mold/virus reduction) affordable. They also inexpensively fixed a long term problem of the downstairs always being too cold and upstairs having to be too hot to warm the downstairs (caused by my HVAC controls/thermostat/sensor being located upstairs) by installing connected room sensors to average /adjust temperatures). They were proficient and friendly, and even placed large moving pads throughout the house to avoid dirtying my floors. Got a Lennox Heat Pump installed by Joshua & Jake, and the work that they did was fantastic, and they were very courteous and walked me through how to work the system. The office Staff, Jillian & Trista, were also very responsive and knowledgeable and helped me with everything I needed. Highly Recommend this company! more

Just bought my second heating and cooling system from Winters. My first system was a geothermal I had installed in a house I was rehabbing to move into when I remarried a few years ago. I couldn't be happier with the whole process. I got a phenomenal price on the unit, the unit came with SMECO, State, and Federal rebates, and the Winters staff expertly prepared all of the paperwork. With the rebates the geothermal was more affordable than a conventional heat pump. The installation was flawless and Winters worked around the other contractors. After the initial installation I did encounter a few problems with faulty factory components, but the Winters team was on the spot having parts expedited to make the repairs, and did follow-up phone calls to ensure we were happy with the system and their staff. The house is all electric and my highest bill during the winter (and SMECO rate hikes) was under $300 for a 2600 sqft house. I still had my previous house and in the process of preparing it to sell, my 15 year old system failed. Winters was the first company I thought of for the replacement system. Once again this unit came with a SMECO rebate, and Winters prepared all of the paperwork. I got a great price and a 10 year warranty on the new system. That will give the new homeowner great piece of mind. more

Finding a reputable HVAC company can be difficult to find. Especially during the winter /summer months when most companies are busy and are money hungry. I found that to be the opposite of Winters Heating and Air. The service from the office staff to the field technicians were extremely friendly and respectful. From the moment I called, I felt I was important and not just a number. Upon of informing the office staff of my issue with my oil furnace, the next available service would be the following day. Scott (service tech) was dispatched to my house and not only troubleshot my problem, but continued to check my entire system. The fix would be a $160 part. The following day James Winters came by to provide me information on a replacement oil furnace. At that point I decided to move on a complete new system and new duct work installed in my attic. At no time was I pressured to purchase a new system or a higher efficiency system. I was presented with options. I did not get three estimates, however what sold me was the attention to detail of the service technicians. My installation took all of two complete days. It was a very large job. The installation team was great. The attitude of "it was my house, I would want it done this way." That attitude shows pride in their work. Winters has been in business for decades. They also have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. They are up to date with the latest HVAC technology and sells quality equipment. more

I would like to Thank the entire Winters Heating & Cooling Team for the exceptional job they have done with the installation of my Heating & AC System. I had a 30 year old unit in which Winters had originally installed. The owner Mr. Winters came to my home and did an Estimate explaining my options while at my home. I then had contact with the office staff (Carol, Theresa & Chelsea) for scheduling and paperwork which they wonderful to speak with & explained in detail how my installation would take place from start to finish. The day of installation Jordan & Ben were on time, very neat and tidy and once the installation was complete they went over the complete system to me which I am very thankful. Recently Winter Sheet Metal had to come out to our house to fix our furnace. Well they did come out in a timely manner on the scheduled date, but they charged a pretty high fee. Along with the high fee, they didnt catch a potentially fatal problem with our furnace. I was not pleased at the fact that they didnt catch this serious problem. The person who came down to work on it was friendly and nice and he did everything that he was supposed to . more
