My fears of the dentist probably originated when I was 7 and the dentist spanked me for crying in the chair! I'm 44 years old and until I met Dr. Winter 3 years ago, I had been to the Dentist 2 times in 15 years. I chose Dr Winter because in my search for a dentist, that could appreciate my fears, he was the only one I approached that would sit with me (in his office at no charge) to discuss my concerns before I sat in "the dreaded chair". He's the only dentist in the office; Joan, his wife, runs the office and his lovely daughter works as a hygenist. It's family business with a family frame of mind. No rushing you out of the office or through your procedure and no painful waiting. I brag about my dentist to strangers and anyone who will listen. To date, he has performed several fillings and 3 crowns; all with no pain. I might need a root canal next week and I'm not the least big concerned. He's careful, concerned and very experienced! He can do it all which saves me the pain of being referred to a complete stranger for more in depth procedures - like a root canal! Crazy as it sounds.. I love my dentist!
