I didnt want to give a bad rating without giving an explanation. I had been needing tires for several weeks, just looking for the right deal. Wilson's Tire Shop had the deal I was looking for, finally. I called on a Tuesday to order the tires and explained that I would be at the shop at 8am the following Friday. I was headed out of town that Friday (500 mile trip), and they were calling for bad weather. Everything was set up and I was told that the tires would be there waiting when I arrived at 8am Friday.
I arrived at 8:15 am on the agreed upon Friday. When I arrived I was told that they forgot to order the tires. I was then asked if I could wait until later that day. That wasn't an option, my departure was pretty much set in stone. Remember I called on Tuesday to arrange this. I was never given a simple apology, or explanation. As a matter of fact, NOTHING was said to me. It was almost as if they couldn't care any less about their mistake.
I understand that things happen, people forget. We are human. It was the ""I dont give a crap"" attitude toward me that Im having a problem with. I was forced to buy tires from another shop...luckily I had done my homework and I was able to make a purchase that I was satisfied with. My suggestion, buy your tires somewhere else. Your money apparently is appreciated anywhere but here.
