I was 54 years when I went to Dr. Thomas, and wore braces for 9 months. My overall experience was very positive. His office is exceptionally well run, with his staff friendly and well supervised. They were right on time for every visit. At the end of 9 months I was exactly where I expected to be at the beginning, with no surprises. I also observed how Dr. Thomas and his staff interacted with other patients, which was always professional and knowledgeable. I saw a lot of satisfied people-- including myself! more

My family has been with Dr. Thomas for many years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality and care of his practice. Dr Thomas himself is a caring, intelligent, and honest individual-everything you could want in a doctor. When ever we are in the office kids are smiling, I can never tell whether its from the bubbly assistants or the cookies they bake daily for them :) We will continue to refer his office to all of our family and friends. more

Good: Dr. Thomas is truly one of the best in the field. His staff operates like a well oiled machine. The environment is clean and full of fun. He offers monthly drawings for great prizes, popcorn, cookies and water for patients and family daily. My daughter and I have had amazing transformations. My son is now begging for braces because he has seen the changes. I have had braces before and this time is better with the Damon System. This is a doctor you don't want to miss. He is funny and friendly. Love him!. Bad: Nothing.. Improvements: He has little room for improvement. The office offers so much currently it's amazing.. Good: Dr. Thomas has a brilliant instinct as to what will work, and the finesse he uses to position brackets gives amazing results. And he explains what and why is doing what he is doing.. Other: I hated my smile my entire life, and had a chin that was set back, so it's nice to have confidence that only a beautiful smile can provide. I work with professionals in a job that has me presenting proposals daily, and my professional success skyrocketed as my new confidence blossomed. Most orthodontists are good with kids, but to have one who knows how to deal with adult teeth that have already been set in place and to know how to enhance facial shape during the adjustment is priceless. I love my smile!. more

Good: We have been with Dr. Thomas's orthodontist office for almost 10 years, when his office in Poway opened. We feel blessed to have him as our orthodontist in the past and currently. Our entire family has had braces with him, my husband, my two older daughters, myself & now our youngest daughter. We have several orthodontist in our own home town, but chose to drive to Poway for results we prefer. When I took my two oldest daughters in, my main concern was to correct the large over bites and crooked teeth so th. Bad: not a single thing except we only get to be with them while we have braces, but wish we could have them as our regular doctors forever.. Other: A beautiful smile goes a long ways, & we give all the credit to Dr. Thomas & staff they are amazing. When you walk in their office as strangers, you'll leave feeling like part of their family. I can honestly say with many offices in the past, I felt like just a number, but not at his office. Were so happy to be back in the office with our youngest now, we've missed them.
