Wheeler's Campground

If you want a friendly large site for family... this is the place to be.. very clean and lots of stuff to do on site. Not a good place to be if u want to stay up and party, the owner will boot you out if you are loud and don't care about others. Sad that a few bad apples have made this campground rating to a 2.. they get a 10 in my book. Pros: Nice showers, large sites more

The owners of this campground are very personable and friendly and clearly put a lot of work into making their campground as enjoyable for their customers as possible. A few of my friends and I camped there over Memorial Day weekend and it was really wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and the sites are pretty big. They have a really nice (and new) shower house that was always clean, which is hard to find at campgrounds. overall, it was a great trip and we will be sure to go back soon. more

The owner of the campground teats his customers as 2 year old children. We went there for memorial day weekend to relax and spend some time with friends and children. Our weekend was ruined by the owner, who was hiding in the woods, and constantly coming over to our site changing the rules of the campground. Very rude guy, not the best place to go with your kids. more

I was visiting some family staying here over memorial day and didn't see any signs pulling in so drove to campsite and was told by family member that I had to pick up a parking pass at the office. I drove to office to pick up ice and pass and was unpleasantly surprised at how rude the owner at the desk was. He threatened me and was VERY rude. I wouldn't recommend staying here as no one deserves to be treated the way he treated me. I am a business owner myself and was thoroughly disgusted with his attitude. I believe there must be a reason his campground appeared to be half full on memorial day weekend when everywhere else in WI was booked full. POOR SERVICE ATTITUDE. Save your money and go somewhere else would be highly recommended. Pros: NONE! Cons: Owner is extremely Rude more
