UNFRIENDLY AND UNHELPFUL STAFF 7/16/2010

I called to make an appointment and the receptionist literally told me that she did not have time to call my insurance company to get authorization for my appointment. Then, she said that if she gets the time later in the day, maybe she would schedule it. Therefore, I was left not knowing whether my appointment was going to be scheduled. It made no sense, and I personally would never want to work with a business that (1) has receptions treat customers this way and (2) turns away business. more

Good doc 8/29/2005

I went to this particular optometrist to get a new eye exam for my contacts because a friend of mine told me the doctor was very gentle. I cannot remember the doc’s name, but I know it was really long and hard to pronounce! Regardless, they were quite gentle and helpful in advising me on what type of contacts to buy. I’d go back. more

Cool eye doc 8/19/2005

Dr. Vandewydeven is currently the main optometrist at this Culver City optometry office. He not only sees patients in his office, he also collaborates with opthalmologists at the Jules Stein Eye Center at UCLA. I have been doing to Dr. Van for the past 7 years, and his office staff have always been very helpful and dedicated. They always make sure that I have enough contacts and if I run out before I reorder they always end me a spare for free. They also have a good selecton of frames and sunglasses. Dr. Van has always been my one and only optometrist and I like doing to physicians who know me by name and not by a number. more
