Charlene and I are alike , in we have wierd habits. one of which is to go against the norm
we are active on www.wheresgeorge.com, a bill tracking website, you enter the serial numbers of your bills, stamp www.wheresgeorge.com on them, and then spend them, and see where they travel to
I had 2 hits yesterday when we got back from Texarkana.(meaning someone had found a bill I marked, and they entered it on the website
but if you are serious georger like we are, you like to spend $2.00 bills
the looks and comments you get are priceless sometimes
Do we take THESE??
cool. never seen one before
but the banks in De Queen do not really cary $2 bills, so Charlene and I keep getting the same ones back over and over again. Time to import some different bills from out of town
Friday, I called this bank, because the last time we went through town, Charlene was told they had plenty of $2's , but they were in the vault that saturday, and nobody could get to them
so, friday, I called..... and asked if they would set aside $80 worth of $2 bills for us.
she took my phone number, and called back to verify they would be waiting for us. and it was long distance for her to call me (25 miles) and we are not even customers there. Charlene walked in, bought the $2's, and was out of there in under 3 minutes
another couple user friendly things about this bank is they have SUNDAY hours, and they also have a coin counting machine for anyoneto use, customer, or just someone walking in off the street.
No charge for that, unline COINSTAR
worth throwing some business their way
