We had just finshed a major 140k $ exterior remodel with all new siding an windows and had Wienmann do the exterior paint. They were not the cheapest bid, but I see their trucks all over NE PDX. They showed up on time. I had to follow the painters around the house. They painted the bathroom fan vent closed, and all the paint on the porch bubbled up. Took months of paint rep issues to get it re done. The owner was not nice at all, just did not care.. I'm sorry I used them, and won't recommend them to anyone more

Weinmann Painting was referred to me by a coworker who was very pleased by the work they did for him. My experience was the same. They approach their work with quality in mind....from the beginning to the end. In their quotations, in their work, in their communications, in their followup. I was concerned about painting my house in October (2011) after the rainy season had already started. They assured me that there was still plenty of opportunity to get it done. When a 3-day window of no rain presented itself, they went right to work. And I'm glad they did! The house looks excellent. And I can rest easy that the house is buttoned up and looking pretty prior to winter. Their communication throughout the whole process was excellent, informing me daily of their progress. And after they were done it was hard to tell that they had been there (other than the nice paint job). The cleanup was great. I'd recommend them to anyone, anytime. more

I had seen Weinmann Painting working in my neighborhood for years and I was always impressed with the quality of their work. I especially noticed how thorough their prep work was because I knew my house needed a good amount of prep work. When it came time to paint the exterior of my house, I contacted Weinmann. Kevin was great to work with up front and answered all the questions I had as well as running paint samples to me to try on the house before committing to a color scheme. Once the colors were chosen and the work began, I was very happy with the effort and workmanship of the crew. They were very courteous to me, my family and our property. I was impressed with the amount of prep work they accomplished in a few days and each day ended with them doing an excellent job of cleaning up around the house. The final result is quite impressive and I'm glad I made the decision to use Weinmann Painting. I've received quite a few comments from neighbors and passers-by about how great the paint job looks. We hired Weinmann Painting to paint an exterior of a commercial building. The enire thing was a disaster. the quality of work was terrible, the scheduling was worse and the follow up was nonexistant. One of the workers that was fired even left with the keys to the building. It was months and months of follow up to try and get the owner out to finish the job. I would never reccommend them for any type of work. more

When we first bought our house, we used Weinmann painting for the exterior. They did a great job so when it was time to start on the interior of our ""fixer upper"", we continued to use Weinmann. They eventually painted the entire interior of our 5,000 square foot home plus the upstairs of our carriage house. It was a huge job. Every bit of woodwork, and there was plenty of it, was a peeling mess.. They did a wonderful job of prepping. When completed, it was nothing short of beautiful. more

The company I work for owns the commercial property for our business. We have worked with Weinmann Painting on several projects now and each experience has been more even positive than the last. First, when Kevin comes out to take a look at the project and write up the proposal, he is extremely knowledgeable and eager to help work within time and budget constraints. He is honest and thorough, looking at details we hadn?t even considered. We received the proposal within just a couple of days and then work began exactly when promised (unlike some other experiences I?ve had where your scheduled dates are pushed back further and further or the vendor just doesn?t show up when promised), which is important to us since we need to schedule around several events on our property and with tenants. The pricing was also fair and Kevin was very helpful in providing options to keep us within our budget. When I had to call the office (multiple times) regarding changes to the project or documents we needed, Lori was always very enjoyable to work with and extremely helpful to keep the project on track. more

We needed a bunch of different items addressed as part of the process of selling our much loved Laurelhurst home. Kevin Weinmann took the time to walk through the whole job with us, then provided a detailed bid within a day or two. The price was fair and precisely in line with the estimate. Pros: arrived on time, called me at work every evening to update me on job and clarify any issues that had arisen; painted the interior of a ""two-dog"" home without getting any dog hair in their work, dealt with special issues like our cluelessness on which paint had last been used in a bathroom we wanted touched up; worked around a rainy Portland March to get some exterior porch painting taken care of; nice people to work with, quality workmanship, advice but only when asked, ""can-do"" attitude - definitely a full service firm. Weinmann Painting is the best in the Northwest, in my opinion. They get it - customer service is important. Cons: no complaints - terrific company. more

I was so delighted with my Weinmann Painting crew two years ago that I didn't even get any other bids this time. The first time, they painted the entire downstairs of my home; this time, they painted the entire upstairs. They even did some minor sheetrock repairs. I can't praise this company enough!
