I purchased my fiances engagement ring from Mikel at wedding day diamonds in burnsville and couldn't have had a better experience with her and this store. I came in a few months before purchasing the ring and was just trying to get educated. Even knowing that I wasn't going to purchase that day Mikel showed me around the entire store, showing me different styles, and educating me with no pressure. When it came time to purchase the ring she was even better. She allowed my fianc? to come in with one of her best friends to look around try on multiple rings, and again absolutely no pressure. She helped her find her find a few beautiful rings, and then sent me pictures of the rings so I could start narrowing it down. My fianc? came home that day and had nothing but good things to say about Mikel. Finally it came time to purchase her ring and Mikel showed me multiple diamonds for the setting making sure to stay within my budget but still getting the most bang for my dollar. Mikel was absolutely amazing to work with, my experience at this store and working with her was perfect, it really couldn't have went any better. When in need for jewelry in the future it will always come from Wedding Day and specifically Mikel. If you are in the market I urge you to go see her. more

From what I hear, my fiance's experience was great. The people helped him find exactly what he wanted and at the appropriate price. Unfortunately, that ring disappeared early this summer and I returned in July to get a new one. When I first called by phone (since I do not live in the area) I spoke to a woman and she located a ring exactly the same as what I had before. When I arrived a few days later I was pleased with what was picked out and amazed by how friendly and helpful the staff really were. It made my experience not as dreadful and I was so happy to have a ring that reminded me of the first one. They were fast and also had the ring set and sized as soon as possible since I am not in the area very much. I would recommend Wedding Day Diamonds to anyone! Wedding Day Diamonds had a great atmosphere when I walked into the store every time. I was greeted by friendly, sincere workers that did not pressure me into looking at anything specific. I was able to look around and then start asking questions. The workers are very knowledgeable and straightforward. There is little dickering that needs to be done since they have very competitive prices. The quality of the diamonds and rings was second to none! We paid $10000 for a diamond ring and told it would take a week to size it. Seven weeks later we got the ring. We had to make most of the calls to get an update. When we finally got the ring we got no box to store it in when not on the finger, just a cheap baggie. You decide on how you like to be treated. Cons: everything more

So... for my anniversary, my boyfriend bought me a beautiful diamond necklace from Wedding Day. A year later, it was stolen and I was completely devastated. We contacted Michael Itman from Wedding Day and he said that he would figure some things out and get back to us. A few days later, Michael called and explained that unfortunetly the necklace had been discontinued. Yet, he still said that he would utilize some resources and find a way for me to get my necklace. A week later Michael called and miracously had found the necklace overseas. I was elated. He contacted the maker and had it shipped to his store. The price was even adjusted so that it was a few cents off from what my boyfriend had originally paid for it. With Michael's help, I was able to get back a very treasured gift with minimal effort on my end - and without paying through my ears. I will continue to use Wedding Day in the future and hope that they can also go way beyound your expectations, as they did for me. more

I have never been happier in a jewelry store, EVER! I have been to the Eden Prairie, Mall of America, Maplewood, and now the Maple Grove locations. Friendly service at all of them. My best experience has been with Michael Itman at the Maplewood Wedding Day location. Michael was there for me and my husband to get us the best Diamond upgrade and then the best wedding band upgrade. He spent hours upon hours with us at each visit and he was always keeping me and my wants/needs in mind. He actually sold us a Diamond for less knowing that we were willing to pay MORE for a different one and it was a great quality diamond. After our many experiences here at Wedding Day- we will NEVER shop anywhere else. We have a friend in our Jeweler and Wedding Day Diamonds. When we met Dean- it was really nice. How often do you get to meet the owner? And actually have a conversation with him? He was so nice and I know that when I meet him again he will remember me. I love to listen to the commercials on the radio and see what they have come up with always looking forward to the next! Wedding Day is NOT just for Wedding rings and bands- they have A HUGE selection of braclets/neclaces/ earrings, and rings...... Wow where do i begin, absolutely the nicest jeweler I dealt with allday. I was in Eden Prairie at the mall and i decied that was more than i can bare. So i decided to come close to home. A friend recommended me to stop in here, and i have to say it was really a great store. very different than all the stores in the mall. i had such a poor expreince in the mall that i wasn't so sure if i wanted to continue. I had no idea about diamonds and the time Jennifer spent with me painstainkingly showing me what to look for was really cool and informative. If you know nothing and you want a low pressure store, this is the one to come into. Avoid the mall....... Pros: Great people, great store, ffamily owned Cons: losing my single status more

Coming from a guy's point of view, Wedding Day Diamonds (WDD) is the best thing I ever encountered. I visited numerous other chain jewelry stores in the malls before WDD. There it seemed that I was only a sale. The staff at WDD treated me like an important repeat customer. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful during my decision making process. From keeping me within my price range to ensuring that the ring I chose was something that both my fiance' and I would love and cherish, they did it all. In addition, the store is setup beautifully with a plasma television, great snacks, and contemporary furniture. I will continue to do all of my jewelry business with WDD.
