Good: Overall quality of food is good, service is fast and the waitstaff friendly. Bad: Gone "upscale" - not the same atmosphere as it used to have before the Marina remodel and its relocation - but then, my taste runs more blue-collar. Improvements: Missing the huge slabs of fresh fish in the fish-and-chips, the enormous burger (1 lb.!), prices a fisherman on a budget could afford. Other: When Squalicum had a fishing fleet, this was the place to be when in port - bottomless coffee, simple food but well-prepared and a lot of it for the price. Not anymore - as the harbor became primarily a Marina, the Web Locker became a more yuppiefied place. Prices went up, the fish isn't local anymore (well, perhaps not much can be done about that), and the famously-huge hamburger (with a fried egg and salami topping, no less) is gone. Oh well. They have great coffee and the fries are excellent.
