Tourist attraction 10/21/2005

If you haven't been to San Francisco, This is a great place to go. It has been opened for many many years. There are always great attractions here. One of the wax figures they have is one of Elvis. It looked so real. I was even impressed by the way they can sculpt famous people. Make sure if you are in the neighborhood, stop by. more

Typical tourist attraction. 10/14/2005

The Wax Museum Entertainment Complex located near the Wharf, is your typical run of the mill tourist attraction. It gives you a decent hour or so, of looking at wax molds of your fav celebrities. It's a decent place to go around with some out of town friends, however if your just stopping by in the area, you can take a pass. There's better attractions near by such as the crab legs across the street, or Pier 39. more

Wax Museum 10/11/2005

This place is really meant to be for tourists because its so expensive. I find it a little weird myself. They have wax statues of alot of famous people: actors, sports players, even presidents. They look a little strange, a little to real. It does fascinate some people. They do have some statues in the front of the for passer byers. But I still think its overpriced. And the parking here is very difficult. more

Wax Museum 9/27/2005

Wax museums creep me out. All of them. Which is why I can never resist going to one when it presents itself. What do you know, there's one right here at FIsherman's Wharf. The Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf has an entirely random collection of people meticulously recreated in wax. Admission prices are relatively high, so if this is not your idea of a good time (or a morbid fascination), you'll be perfectly fine with passing this one up. If, however, you enjoy the wax museum idea, make sure to check out the Chamber of Horrors. more

Wax Museum 8/15/2005

The Wax Museum is located near Pier 39. It's hard to miss the building because it looks like an old movie theater. It is really a neat place to see. The wax replicas of famous people were really remarkable and so life like. The only negative is that there is no free parking available unless you park several blocks away from the main shopping area. Also the Medieval Dungeon was too scary for the kids. more

Great place! About a block away from Pier 39. This place has a lot of freaky sculpture as well as a life size replica of Barry Bonds. It is amazing looking at the different arts they have. They also have other celebrities. Great for kids and an attraction to many tourist who visit the area. more

Wax Museum 8/8/2005

This is such a fun place to visit. It is located near Pier 39 and when you go inside, there are lots of very cool things to check out. Sometimes, they have wax sculptures of famous celebrities such as eminem and beyonce. There are also lots of shops and restaurants located nearby to shop at when you're done exploring the museum so go check it out and enjoy! more

AHHHH! 8/6/2005

This is the only wax museum i know in san francisco. It is extremely cool, although the admission price is a bit high. Besides that, there are a lot of people going in and out and it is a very fun place to have a scare with your friends. But there are no photography. It is very cool to see famous people you know look so real in front of you. more

House of Wax 8/6/2005

The wax museum is just what it sounds like. It is a building full of wax! However, the wax has been cleverly sculpted into very recognizable faces. Who are they? Well, these familiar faces belong to the famous people like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Barry Bonds, Jack Nicholson, and Madonna! They are very good replicas of the real person! However, if you have watched that recent thriller with Paris Hilton (HOUSE OF WAX), you may be a little frightened to enter this museum. It may bring chills up your spine! Just remember that these waxed creatures are made of wax. No one is really trapped inside these works of art! more
