Waterville Boys & Girls Club

After watching the instructors and children in activities at this facility I was blown away! The discipline,the engagement of the participants in every program was five star! This facility is staffed by people who love working with children! The expression on their faces and the response of the children was something I haven't seen in years. Even the adults bringing their children early in the morning to participate in various programs exuded expressions of enthusiasm. Even the senior couple who came up to me and raved about their early morning swim and the efforts put forth by the CEO to make all programs function smoothly was beyond anything I have seen lately. What a fabulous club, truly a role model for everyone working with youth to follow!!!!!! more

Besides having a teen center, dance, karate, camps, heritage tour, gymnastics, baseball fantasy trips, aquatics and athletics there also is a after school program for the school year for children 6-12 year olds free for after school and $40 per child during school vacations. Free swimming, outside play area, arts & crafts, and a nutritious meal. Hours are Monday thru Friday 2pm to 6pm. Opened 7am to 6pm on snow days, vacations, and on teacher workshop days. more
