Waldron Electric Heating & Cooling

I have couple rooms out of power. The reason I call Waldron Electric because have their sticker on the panel from last owner, I think they may know better than others. they send some one over today. We have someone home but the service guy sat in the car till Get paid $85 service call at head. After take a look of the panel, told me have to pay another $456/hr. for test to find out what's wrong before do any fix. hiway robbery! I call another electrician came over only pay $100 to fix all. highly recommend call some one else. more

Recently we called Waldron electric for a few minor electrical repairs. 2 three way switches needed replaced, and we wanted to replace a bathroom light fixture. Each 3 way switches was going to be $303 and the bathroom fixture we had already purchased so it just needed to be installed was going to be an additional $454 for a total of $822. I would say this was hiway robbery. Only ok'd 1 switch replacement. The electrician did opt to replace the 2nd switch for free, please give me a break, Later we called another electrician for another 3 way switch only charged us $75. Will NEVER CALL WALDRON ELECTRIC AND I ADVICE EVERYONE TO CALL SOMEONE else, don't be in a hurry or you will pay big time. more

I just made a phone call today to Waldron Electric to call ahead to see if they carried Murray brand circuit breakers. They said they did, so I made an appointment for them to come out today.\r \r I received a friendly greeting from the two gentlemen that arrived in a Waldron Electric truck a few hours later. It was immediately apparent that these gentlemen cared about building a rapport with their customers based on their interactions and helpful attitude.\r \r As far as the Job itself: \r \r They quoted me what I believe to be a reasonable price and a reasonable time to install the parts and make the proper adjustments in my electrical box.\r \r I had to pick up my children from school, so the men went to work. \r \r When I returned, the work I requested was performed and all the lights in my kitchen and dining room was restored. All their paper work was complete and ready for me to give them my credit card to finalize the transaction.\r \r While they were their they also did a free electric test on my one breaker that worked my basement game room in the back that never worked since I purchased the home.\r \r They installed some wiring to repair this as a free bee and I was so happy that they got it fixed. \r \r I would have my friends come over and the plugs in that room would never work and they could never charge up their cell phones while we had conversation. I.m very gratefull to the Waldron Electric Company men for taking the initiative in solving this long time problem.\r \r They also showed me some bare wires that were up in the rafters and some maintenance items that needed taken care of. \r \r They quoted me some prices when I asked how much it would cost, and they were not pushy about me having them done. Their was some shaky wires that clearly needed attended too.\r \r Overall the experience was good and encouraging to know that there are still honest electricians out their. Waldron Electric came out and repaired my furnace. they were great and I would call them again. Here is my story:\r \r I called a few other places and the other companies seemed to want to replace my furnace without even seeing it. I did not believe I needed a new furnace. \r \r I then called my friend that works on furnaces and he was not able to come, but he told me to call Waldron Electric.\r \r So I called Waldron's and they came within an hour, determined my problem in the furnace was with the blower motor, it was not blowing the warm air up into my house so the warm air was staying in my furnace causing it to shut off. \r \r The men from Waldron's were very nice men. They gave me a few different options but never pushed a new furnace on me. \r They explained they were their to repair my furnace right off the bat, not sell me a new one. \r \r I liked their honesty. They had the motor on their truck and they put it in and the furnace now works much better, like it pushes more air out of my vents.\r \r They also changed my filter, as they said it can restrict the air flow from getting upstairs through the vents and showed me how to install it correctly with the little arrow toward the furnace.\r \r The Waldron electric men took the time to explain to me what they were doing and how much the costs would be before they did any work. I like to know the price up front and they were very clear about what I would be spending and the price was fair and I am ultimately fully satisfied. \r \r I will have them come this spring and change my electric box and put in some plugs for me that need changed. \r \r I would give a good recommendation for Waldron Electric.\r \r Megan\r Pgh Area more

I worked for Waldron Electric for a few years and I must say they did train us to be extremely honest with the customers.\r I since then moved out of state,or I would have stayed with them. What I liked about them the most is that they really took the time to train me to make sure the work was done perfect. They hired the best tech's they could find and only expected high morals from their employees. I would say they were my favorite place to work.\r \r Frank K. more

DO NOT USE. These people are crooks. Spent five minutes tuning off a humidifier and charged $560 ($95 service charge and $465 to turn a tubing valve and to disconnect two 24 Volt wires. This works out to approximately $4500 per hour. The worst is that they talk about how ethical they are and denigrated other providers. These people are a special kind of terrible. I recommend that masochist use this service. more

Called Waldron Electric from seeing them on TV. They gave us a fair price and did excellent work on our new electric box in the basement. They stayed until 2:15 am on a Saturday night and didn't leave until every last screw was put in. \r We will use them for our AC work this summer. I took a picture of their sign on their truck in case anyone needs their number. They even put in a free plug for my washer. Hi, my name is Margret, we had Waldron Electric come out today and they were just fabulous. They were clean, neatly dressed in uniforms and the men were very nice and explained everything to us. \r \r They have an ""A"" rating on the Better Business Bureau too so we felt comfortable calling them.\r \r We were referred to Waldron Electric from our Pastor, Waldron Electric does all the lights in our church. We seen them on TV with the dogs, but we were not sure if they did residential, so I called the church and they said they have been using Waldron Electric for over a decade and Father Denis said they are great to work with.\r \r I had a few other smaller electricians over last month,and they could not find the electrical problems we were encountering but still charges us. So, we decided to call a real company, (we are through with handymen, we really needed someone that knew what they were doing) and we don't mind paying a little more for great service. Waldron's prices were very fair by us, and I must say they were really, really good electricians. \r I remember when gas was 32 cents, now considering gas is over $4.00 a gallon, everything is expensive these days, but we signed up for an Animal Rescue membership through Waldron Electric (Waldron Sponsor's them) and we got a nice discount and an Animal Rescue League membership discount card from Waldron's men. Called Waldron Electric as we found water in our fuse box. They came right over, solved the problems, installed a new switch box and outside wiring. THe inspector said they did a great job. They cleaned up and got me out of my electrical problems the same deay. Very easy to work with. more

Truck ripped down my wires to the house. Called other electricans, they never showed or called back. Consulted with neighbor, he used Waldron Electric last year. I called the Waldron Electric Co. and they came out, did a very neat job, were polite, and even cleaned up. Everything is working fine. Very easy to work with. Would recomend to all my friends. WALDRON CAME 123! gave us Fast service! A++ Rating For Waldron Electric. The men that came to our home really knew what they were doing. They designed our electric work better than the other guys that came out. We noticed a big difference in hiring a real Electrical company vs. dealing with the little guy on the corner. All we had was problems with the small guYS, they never show up.One guy was a plumber but just got into the electrical business and said he knew electric. Boy did we find out you never hire a plumber to do an electricans job! Wolf in Sheeps Clothing! We are elderly and we had enough of playing around. I told my husband I wanted a REAL electric company in here to fix our issues once and for all. Waldron Electric came the same day and they finished up quicker that we expected. We are new to the area, last week we had electrical problems and three electrical co's could not find out why we were having problems. The last guy gave up and told us to call Waldron Electric heating Cooling. He said they specialize in finding hard to solve problems in residences he told me. I took Ricks advise and made an Apointment with Waldron Electric. They asked me alot of questions about the electical problems I was experiencing. After about an hour they found my problem in the attic, my fan was shorting out. That explains the burining smell we were having. Glad I called them Waldron people. They were excellent. For what they charged me I was happy and feel I had gotten my money's worth. We are happy customer's of Waldron Electric Heating and Cooling. more

Used Waldron Electric today, seen their TV commercial. Plumbers were working at our home and hit my jacoozi line. I need it for theropy. I seen Waldron Electric's commercial saying same day service. They came out and fixed the line seamlessly, perfect fix. Another company wanted to put ugly boxs on my patio, but Waldron had a special tool to fix it better. Glad I called Waldron, they were cheaper than 3 other co's I had called. Good Job by Waldron Electric. more

Reliable 24 hour Emergency Service repairs. I called about 8 electricans at 10Pm to try to get my burning fuse box replaced. No one answered, my neighbor refered me to Waldron Electric. They answered directly, They came out within the hour and had all the parts on their trucks. They were a professional organization and very organized. I can't complain, the service was great, the work cost $1,700.00 and they worked all night. I tipped the workers $50 each for their great work. They deserved it. more

I had Waldron Electric in my home. After they left I checked out their costs from other local electrical companies for services done and future services they quoted me. As suspected, I was over EXCESSIVELY over charged for some services by quadruple. Example They quoted me the install of a new electric panel. Waldron cost $9,000 .... other companies avg $3,000. more

I know nothing about electrical problems and thanks to Waldron Electric I don't have to worry about that. For affordable pricing they fixed my electrical problem. more
