i got a dog from there and they SAID it was a mini schnauzer wich @ the most are -20lb and mine is 35lbs, and has a skin problem. and i looked @ a pompom and the lady said (quote) " Honey I have 7 at home and they are wonderful" then a week later i looked @ the schnauzers and she said " I have 3 at home they are the sweetest things...". And they always were like "fine"(grumpily) when we asked to see a dog. I am never going there again. more

Went in to Waldo pets to purchase a shampoo for my dog. went there Knowing the prices are high,I did not have time to drive somewhere else,ended up paying eleven dollars for a shampoo that cost four dollars at target. The staff is rude,on my way out I asked questions about a puppy they had in their kennel cage, the lady at the counter answered nonchalantly as if my business was not of any value to her,she did not even bother to respond to me when I said "thank you,have a good day".I would not go back to this shop and would not advise it to anyone. their prices are extremely high and their are not customer friendly. I paid $29.95+ tax for a 4cu. ft. bag of cedar chips, for dog bedding. I must have been temporarily brain dead. I found the same size bag of cedar chips at tractor supply for $6.71. I'll never go in waldo pets again Pros: location Cons: unreasonable markup more

I chose Waldo Pets over a more conveniant chain store because I come from a family business background. When I bring my business to a local company, I expect to pay a little more in exchange for quality service and customer care. It's really a shame that Waldo Pets is unable to provide either. The staff was absent at best, the inventory abysmal, and though I purchased a simple fish bowl and supplies at a startling $21.00, the fish were not in stock. Three visits later, the fish are still not in. I am so disappointed in this store that I'd rather buy from even Walmart. They may be a bully corporate monopoly, but at at least you know they'll have what you want in stock for 40% of the cost. Pros: Mom and pop shop Cons: Has the service of a self pump gas station more
