The Kitchen is not suitable for anything except the mice that live there eating the texas toast. The tables on are not clean, the last time I was there it was specifically because of the bugger that was dead center on the table. The proprietor and help staff sleep in the pantry on the floor between the buckets that catch the water spilling through holes in the roof. Worst place on the beach 9/10/2008

The only thing to commend about this place is that it is open 24 hours a day, so if you need dysentery at any hour you know where to get it. The mice they keep on staff are entertaining and the hired help are too fast asleep to bother you with offers to refill your coffee or to disenfect your table. Eat here if you need to determine if you are still in Gods good graces, if not, someone is likely to order Soylent Green for lunch. more

Late Night Drunk Food 7/29/2006

Waffle's and Things is notable for one reason. It is open 24 hours. I can't say I've ever been there sober, so my opinion of the food is a bit cloudy. From what I can remember, it is good. I've been there about a half dozen times. The wait staff is friendly (despite the crap they have to put up with from the intoxicated customers). However, watch out for the owner. We nicknamed her Gwilma. She's big and grumpy. You can usually find her at the bar, passed out on the keyboard of her laptop. One time she was actually waiting tables (it was a midweek thing, I guess). She's got a nasty attitude. more

Fantastic Waffles 8/8/2005

Waffles N' Things has some of the best waffles anywhere! In fact, the whole menu is generally good ... the pancakes also deserve a mention. The staff is friendly and fun to be around, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is generally warm and welcoming. Prices are beyond reasonable - two people can eat well for under twenty dollars. If you're on the beach and in the mood for breakfast, Waffles N' Things is definitely the place to go! more
