BAD

Beware Volker. He is dishonest. He does not respect his customers or reputation. He will try to get away with things that are wrong, if he thinks he will get away with it.

Volker is a guy with a big heart and a man of words. \r I did business with him several times and I have a deep admiration and respect for him and his family and business.\r \r I don't need to say the work volunteer he made for the Park City community and for all the vendors at the Park City Farmer's Market . \r \r With Volker anytime I will make a business deal , because the man has a word !\r \r Washington Sauerbronn more

Volker's Asiago Bread is To Die For! 9/29/2010

I am pregnant and have been craving the asiago cheese bread for weeks!!! I moved out of state so I have no idea how I'm going to get some. All I have to say is that their breads are amazing. I always buy the asiago, but the basil asiago is also delicious. I'm on a tight budget, but I think 5 dollars per loaf is worth it. more

GREAT Bread and Strudel, but buyer beware 9/7/2010

I love Volker's bread - they come to the Farmer' s Market in Ogden and every Saturday I stop and buy a loaf or two, and often the dipping sauce and/or a strudel too. Great tasting. However, last time I bought bread I handed over my $5 bills for each loaf and the guy told me the price had gone up to $6, so I paid $6. Well, my daughter goes to another Farmer's Market that sells Volker's and they charged her $5 on the same day - and others got charged $5 locally. I guess the seller ripped me off! NOT happy - this was two weeks ago. This time when I went to the market I didn't buy any and I don't think I will again. more

Best Bread! 7/18/2010

I discovered this bakery at the Park City farmers' market and now go to the Salt Lake City Market especially for this bread. I may not stop at any other booth, but I must get my basil bread! This stuff makes fantastic toast, a terrific sandwich, and is just plain awesome with a little cheese! I am not a bread eater, but this is the best! I may never eat grocery store bread again! Pros: great flavor and texture! more

Best bread ever 7/9/2005

We have recently moved to Salt Lake, and have been trying breads from the various vendors at the big saturday farmers market on 3rd west. Volkers multi-grain is the best bread I Have ever had anywhere, including the famous (and very expensive) bread from Poulan in Paris, France. Their walnut bread is superb too. Haven't tried the others as yet. Can't comment about any of their other products... more
