Vivo Enoteca

This place was a lot better when it was 110 Restaraunt and didn't have the slick decor and smarmy attitude. The waitstaff seems to be chosen based on how well they match the decor, as the service is awful. The food, while OK, was served in small portions and was overdone and not that spectacular. The whole place gives the impression of trying very hard to be a trendy SoHo/Tribeca eatary, and getting nothing but the trendy right. Vivo Enoteca... I am not a picky person, but I have to say that I visited Vivo for the first time and the service was horrible!!! Although my party was only being served by the bartender-She was RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, and EXTREMELY SLOW. I think we waited for 20 minutes before she came to take our drink order, and then she disappeared for another 20 before returning to take our food order. She served everyone who came in after us before us. I have never had this problem before anywhere! The food was OK and came in small portions. The atmosphere was nice, but that was about the only plus I car to offer Vivo... it could be great- if only the staff takes a lesson in mannars.
