You will get sick if you eat here. I'm not sure why other people think this is good sushi, it was beyond disgusting and tasted very old. We went on a Saturday night so you would think their fish would be fresh, not the case here. We were extremely disappointed and would NEVER recommend this place. Pros: Server was good Cons: Everything else was horrible more

Went here for dinner one weekend while some friends were in town. Found the food really delicious, and the dinner prices weren't overpriced (like many places downtown). The place turned into a great bar/lounge w/ a DJ and dance floor after dinner, so we just stayed here and had a fun night. Also, this place is a Onepass or American Dining Rewards member, so that was an added bonus! Pros: food, prices, ambiance Cons: reservations recommended, especially on weekends more

Great menu choices! 5/21/2008

My boyfriend and I passed by Visions on our way home from shopping and stopped in for a drink and some appetizers. The beers were ice cold, the appetizers were sophisticated and delicious (portabella goat cheese sliders - YUM) and the bartenders were just great (fast, friendly, helpful). We also got the appetizers at Happy Hour prices which were super. We went back for a special occassion a couple weeks ago and had dinner in the main dining room... FANTASTIC! After agonizing over the many unique menu choices, he ordered the stroganoff, I ordered one of the ravioli dishes and we shared - along with a basket of soft warm bread. We kept making yummy noises throughout the meal. The sauces were rich and flavorful and the mushroom stuffing in the ravioli just melted in my mouth. By the way, I had a serving of cooked spinach with my ravioli dish and there wasn't a single grain of sand in it - for anyone who has chomped down on a fork full of spinach only to grind some dirt, you can appreciate that! We are going back next week to try the sushi bar that looked amazing, too. THIS PLACE LOOKS, FEELS AND TASTES VERY PRICEY, BUT OUR BILL DID NOT REFLECT THAT AT ALL! Pros: great menu choices, attentive service, meticulously prepared dishes with great presentation, stunning lounge more

Great New Years! 1/28/2008

I went there for New Year's 2008 and had a blast! This place was sweet with its VIP rooms. When I first walked in I thought it wasn't packed....but really it was! All the rooms were rocking and the DJ was kickin. We also had sushi and appetizers and rang the New Year in with a very cool employees that worked there and a cool bar and lounge crowd. Probably the best New Years I have had in a long time. I would recommend it for special occasions or just a fun night out on the town. Pros: VIP Rooms more

Worst bouncers I have ever seen 12/31/2007

I went there on New Year's Eve and not only were there no people there but the bouncers sucked. I was with a group of nine people and my friend got thrown out for being "too drunk" no further explanation. When I asked what happened I got thrown out too and threatened to be beaten up. The other bouncers said thye were sorry and that it was wrong but there was nothing they could do. Anyway if you are looking to have a good time I don't recommend this bar. Pros: Cocktails heavy on the liquor Cons: Terrible security staff, no crowd even on New Years more

INCREDIBLE VENUE!!! 9/4/2007

I love this place! It seems that everytime I go there i discover something new and exciting! First I fell head-over-heals for the sushi, then I moved on to the main dining room menu...you have to get the New York steak! The third visit I went for a birthday get-together and spent time in one of the incredible VIP suites. It seems that there is literally something for everyone at this venue...and it is huge! There is no one I wouldn't recommend to go to Visions! PS The dance music is fun in the lounge too! Pros: Full-service Sushi Bar AND American food in main dining room more

Visions is awesome, they have great sushi! It is an awesome place to go for dinner and then stay to get drinks after. Depending on the night and if there is an event planned, it can get crowded, but I have also been there on really slow nights during the weekend. They have great deals if you sign up for their 1 year VIP pass thing, $1 Sake and roll specials! Pros: Sushi is amazing, hot bartenders :) Cons: Pricey more
