Vision One Lasik

I recieved my Lasik procedure at the Lombard location with my groupon deal. Be prepared to wait for more than 2 hours! also for check-up appointments be prepared to wait for at least 30 min. to see the doctor. I am happy with my results and vision, but the service could be better and more efficient. more

Its been a few months after receiving my Lasik PRK and now i have 20/20 vision. I am thrilled with the results and I feel so free! Dr. Brand was my doctor for check-ups and consultations and he was great. The actual procedure is held at the Lombard location and you will have to wait hours, but i believe it was overall worth it. It was a slow and steady process to get to where my eyes are at now, but I am completely satisfied with the results (and my vision can still improve). I had my lasik surgery last month at Vision One Lasik Center and I am extremely pleased with the results. I had no severe issues after the procedure, no scar tissue, no dry eyes or any significant symptoms. I didn't have to use the rewetting drops, just the prescribed eye drops for 7 days. The only side effect I have is sensitivity to light (halos and star bursts). Hopefully this will subside after 3 months as the eyes will fully heal by then. I strongly recommend this place, the surgeon and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. more

10/10!! It has been 6 months since my procedure & I could not be happier. Prior to having the PRK Procedure I had worn glasses & contacts my whole life. Dr. Brand, Dr. Burger were both great to work with. The staff was friendly & the price was impossible to pass w/ Groupon. I now have 20/20 vision and prior had vision well into the -5.75. Price wise this is the cheapest I've seen the procedure at $1900 with the Groupon. I went for the consultation before I purchased the Groupon but I was still surprised that for such a large purchase for a Groupon that it was not a scam. LVI charged $3300 with a supposed 20% discount because the sun was shining. LASIK plus wanted my leg and $3750 also with a $600 discount because the sky is blue. You see and talk to the doctors more than other places that have you with a tech most of the time. Yes, you'll be there on the day of the surgery for 3-4 hours because they have people go in groups. The whole procedure takes about less than five minutes. I was able to see almost immediately. I even went out to eat afterwards. Discomfort is the best word to describe some of the unpleasant sensation regarding the surgery, but there is no pain. Two weeks later, I can see without any aid better than ever. You have to wear the goggles for a week while you sleep and take two eye drops four times a day as well, but that's no big deal. My vision is still improving as it takes a couple of months to fully heal. So I would definitely recommend going here unless you wanna pay double the price at LVI or LASIK plus. Best investment so far. more

I had the surgery done at the very end of February 2014 on a Groupon my mother found. All the doctors, nurses, and other helpers at Vision One Lasik Center were all very confident about the procedure which helped put my nerves at ease. I didn't get nervous until I was laying down to have the surgery, but it was absolutely painless and had to take at least 7 minutes. It was definitely under 10 minutes. The burning they talk about afterwards is very minimal. I barely had any burning. After the surgery, I had to put 2 different drops in my eyes, 3 times a day, for a week, which was not that bad at all. You have to follow up the morning after you have the surgery, which is most important. Then, you see the doctor in a month. After that, you see him in 2 months, by that time it would be 90 days. Today, I had my 90 day follow up and found out not only am I reading 20/20, but I'm reading even more that. I'm at a 20/15, I think, but surpassed 20/20. Only 1 out of 10 can do that. With that said, I am very satisfied with the service and Lasik Surgery Vision One Lasik Center provides. more

Vision One Lasik Center is the best. I couldn't have been any happier with my Lasik experience. I am now seeing 20/15 and glasses/contacts free. I must admit I was a little nervous about the procedure at first, but Vision One Lasik Center made sure to go through the entire process step by step beforehand and discussed the specifics which was very calming. The surgery itself was too easy to be true. I would highly recommend Vision One Lasik Center to anyone interested in Lasik surgery. Be sure to check Groupon, because although the surgery is worth every penny and will end up saving me money in the long run it was nice receiving the Groupon discount. more
