I think Jay is Great - I moved to the Richmond area from NJ and had a very hard time finding someone to cut and style my hair. I went to Visible Changes on my daughters recommendation and I was serviced by Jay - Jay was great - friendly, knew how to cut and style and he took time an care. aah i was so sad that day didnt know wat to do i was sick and tired of my long hair and my girlfriend told me about visible changes and i went... i was scared because i didnt know what tosay or do but when it was m turn i had the best hair stylist ever thats right JAY..:) i asked him what hair style was best for me and i closed my eyes next thing you know awesome hair style JAY...has inspired me to do what i want so thx jay your the best love ya siqned..jason gonzalez more

Jay is the best 7/9/2010

I have been here several times. I have only been happy with Jay's haircuts. Last time my sis and I went in last min. Jay was fully booked, so we just took who was avail. The lady that did my sisters hair was horrible. I asked her if we could get Jay to fix it. Even though he was really busy he helped us out. She was able to go back to Illinois with a new haircut that looked great. Love him. Pros: Love his eye for detail more

Been with KIM for 5 yrs... she's the best!!!! Very sweet, honest in to what works for me, especially if wanting something new!! Great atmosphere, always a fun experience!! Great place for good head....of hair that is! 11/2/2009

I have been going to Krystal and Rita for a couple of years now and I always walk out with a smile on my face. Krystal is very knowledgable and my color is very consistant. Rita takes the time to get to know your hair and uses a cutting technique that works for you (not the typical wet, scissor cut all the time). Because it is a little expensive I have tried going to other salons but always end up at Visible Changes in First Colony for these two to fix it. Thanks Krystal and Rita for taking good care of me and my hair!! Pros: Always get superior service, knowledgable team Cons: a little pricey more

My official hair stylist 8/14/2009

Clavia was recommended to me several months ago by 2 friends. Not only is she smart, witty, and beautiful; she tamed my mass of frizzy, super curly, graying hair into a straight shoulder length style. Instead of looking gray, my hair looks as if it has natural highlights. Clavia also taught me how to straighten my hair and which products to use. While I can't master her perfection when I do it myself, I am still able to look completely different. I've been told that this look makes me look 10 years younger! Now that's a Visible Change! I've been getting my haircut with Jay for half a year now and will continue to come back! He's very friendly and just a riot to talk to; I'd even come in just for a visit! I always feel like I'm with a friend when Jay cuts my hair. He's very good at interpreting what you describe and translating it into the great look you want. He's very skilled and uses several advanced techniques on your hair, he'll even teach you new things about your hair you didn't know, or even create a great new look for you. Simply put, if you want a great haircut, go to visbile changes at the first colony mall and GO SEE JAY Pros: GREAT stylists who are friendly, fairly priced and skilled more

I'll drive across town to get to Andre at Visible Changes 8/1/2009

I used to spend hours going through magazines to decide on the style/cut to recommend to my hairstylist and then came Andre. You know he's good when you can sit in the chair and say, ""Whatever you think, Dre"". He appreciates his customers and wants you to look your personal best. The first time he cut my hair, a mother and daughter stopped me in Macy's and asked me who cut my hair. I passed on a business card and I saw them at VC my next visit. Pros: Patient, listens to customer, high quality Cons: Not one con comes to mind in the years I've known him more

I have thick hair... and hate it... She is able to thin it so it still looks one lenth but falls smoothly... No layers reaching out to the humidity... I have seen others at visible changes... But she is the best there...and will stick with her always. Pros: does miracles with my hair. Cons: she is in demand, book atleast 2 weeks before you need cut more

I like to kepe my hair short, however have really never had a great short haircut until i went to Jen! thanks Jen, you changed my life!!! haha, but seriously, the service was great and she is very talented and listens to what the customer wants. she is cutting my hair today and i am so excited. more

Jen has cut my hair several times now and she has done a fabulous job every time!! I felt she did exactly what I asked for plus had great suggestion!! THEY CUT MY HAIR AND IT WAS LOOKING OK BUT ONCE I WENT THERE AND GOT MY HAIR CUT I AM THE PREETIST I HAVE EVER BEEN AND ITS ALL UP TO JEN GARZA SHE CUTS HAIR AS IF SHE WAS BORN KNOWING HOW. Jen is the best! 5/9/2009

Ever since i met Jen she has offered me nothing but great service and good converstion! She very good at what she does and i cant wait till my next hair cut! we try something new every time and i love it. Jen even wants me to do a mowhawk bc she thinks it will look awesome, but im not ready to go that extreme yet! she even does my gf's hair and she loves it too! i know i will continue to go to jen for a long long time. This Location Is awful 5/8/2009

I went to get my hair trimmed with Jen Garza. This stylist has no customer service skills. She seemed annoyed that I came in to get my haircut. She was really rough with coming the tangles out of my hair and when I asked her opinion how short i should have my layers her response was ""i dont know"" which was a response with everything I asked there after. The cut was was ok but I've had better so I wont be returning to this salon at all. I normally go to the galleria location but I really needed a cut and it was the closet location from work. I will just make an effort to go see Jose at the galleria. Jen is the worse stylist I have ever encountered. Do not see her if you have to go to that location. Cons: filthy and no customer service more
