Worse Service Ever: I was referred to them by Samsung when my microwave stopped working after 4 months. I set an appointment for 11-1PM. I called around 12:30 to see if tech was on their way. Was told yes. Waited until 1:45PM and called back. They called the tech to find out he could not find my house (pretty simple as it has been there for 30+ years). He said he called me but phone never rang and no missed calls. My only option take off another day of work as all they could do was reschedule. The attitude of the staff was O'well we will reschedule. The perception is it happens all the time as it did not seem to surprise them. Sadly no other option but to reschedule. Called Samsung and they say out of their hands as it is 3rd party repair. WHAT A SHAME!!!! more

Wrong Part = Wasted Day 2/27/2012

They called me a week ago and said the part needed to repair my tv came in and they scheduled service for today between 8:00 and 10:00. They called me at 9:55 saying that the wrong part came in and they need to re-order the part and re-schedule. I understand that these things happen but they realized 5mins. before their window was up that it was the wrong part? I took off of work today,if they would have called me sooner it wouldn't been an issue! Make sure you have them verify that the part is correct before you schedule any repairs. more

Beware - Overpriced for Mediocre Service 12/19/2011

Poor service. The techinician replaced the heating element, but did not attach the dryer vent and left my dryer in the middle of the floor. Yet, he charged me $175 for service call and labor ($75 more than the quote on the phone) and I had to finish the job!! I called the company and spoke with a manager who claimed she would ""get back to me"" - never did. more

Amazing Service 12/14/2011

I've had my Samsung TV for three years and it just recently started the dreaded on off power cycle problem. I opened it up and saw that 2 of the 4 capacitors were blown. I called Samsung and was very surprised that they were going to replace the capacitors at no cost to me should that actually fix the problem. Virginia electronics was able to schedule an apt quickly and they gave me a two hour window which was nice since I'm used to 4+ hour windows. He arrived on time, was very courteous, and had my TV fixed in 20 minutes. He also replaced all 4 capacitors even though only two were blown without me even having to ask. I'm glad Samsung stands behind their products enough to fix defective parts even outside of the product's warranty. more

Was slightly apprehensive to call Virginia Electronics after reading some of the reviews, but so glad I called them to service my Samsung washer! Scott came by the NEXT day, even earlier than the estimated service time slot! Problem fixed!!! Would definitley recommend them!!! thank you!!! more

After many calls to Samsung about my dryer and another repair service comming to fix it,the repair guy came at the last minute and then (fixed my dryer only taking the lint out of it) then my dryer broke again a week later. I then had to make many more calls to Samsung, they gave me the phone number for Virginia Electronics in Ashland,Va. I did have to call a few times and then I got a very nice lady on the phone that was willing to help me,her name is Dale. Dale set up a repair date and time. I was so surprised when the repair guy (Jason) came right on time,was very professional and made sure he did the job of fixing my dryer right. I was so impressed to say the least. Thank you Jason, Jason your the Best!!! Thank you Dale and thank you Virginia Electronics of Ashland,Virginia. We are very pleased customers!!!! A+++++ for you! more

I was nervous when I first called, due to the previous reviews I read. I called and Virginia Electronics did not have an answering machine, which was listed on the reviews. I did call the next morning. The receptionist was extremely helpful, giving advice for working with Samsung to fix our tv. After getting the go-ahead from Samsung, I called them back and they scheduled the appointment for the next day. The repairman (and yes, it was Dave!) came within the window and fixed the problem within 25 minutes. Fast and friendly service. My kids were thrilled to get their tv back, as was I! I would definitely call them again if the need arises. more

They don't answer their phone or have an answering machine 6/13/2011

This business was supposed to fix my tv under warranty for Samsung. However, they called me once, didn't set up a time, and then would not answer their phone for a week. Interestingly, they don't have an answering machine or voicemail. Sound sketchy? You bet. Samsung is being cool though and trying to find someone else or giving me a refund. more

Repairs Samsung TV's 5/26/2011

The technician was able to repair our Samsung TV. The TV was having difficulties turning on (capacitor). This product was covered by Samsung, as well as the repair service. There was difficulty in determining whether Samsung was liable. At first they told my husband it was covered, but when the repair technician confirmed the work ordered number with Samsung it was denied. Several phone calls were needed. (slightly irritating) more

Crooks abound!!!!!! 5/24/2011

What a ripoff! These guys are crooks and I would not use them even if my repairs were FREE!!!!!!! Very bad experience. I wish that I had read their online reviews BEFORE I used them. They tell you one thing and then do another. They were/are very expensive. Told me the repair would cost around $250.....Then told me $450. Call anyone else EXCEPT for these guys. more

Please keep everything in writing whenever you are dealing with them. They are very rude and unprofessional, worst customer service. I have an issue with my microwave, they schedule an appointment with a condition that they will call me 30 mins prior to the schedule. They showed up late and completely deny that they agreed on that. I have been calling them to schedule but all calls going to voicemail and that voicemail is full. more

I have used this company, it was ok at best. Poor communication and service leave you with a sour taste. Several have made mention of the reviews, Yes at least one was written by an employee of theirs. Be very careful to document every and any communication with them and follow up with the Manufacturer on any issues. more


Is the worst service I ever see starting with the receptionist and the technician. I don't know how Samsung has a contract with them. And is true looks like the good reviews are wrote by their employees, always used the same name (DAVE) is the only good technician or what? Good luck dealing with this people. more

I read reviews before they came out and was worried about what kind of service I would get. They came to fix my Samsung Tv. I had my tv back and working in less that 30 hours after contacting Samsung. Dave was the tech and he was very professional and informative. Would recommend their service to others. more
