GOOD: Bloody Mary's - spicy mix and you can taste the Vodka; nice patio with pretty flowers. NOT SO GOOD: Everything else. Portions were very small and overpriced. Service was attentive, other than they totally forgot about one of our appetizers. Homemade potato chips were almost burned and tasteless (no seasoning), but the tiny little cup of cheese fondu for dipping was good. Their version of Eggs Benedict comes with no sides whatsoever - just eggs benedict on a plate. The fish & chips should be called chips and where's-the-fish. We looked at it and said, ""Where's the rest??"" It consisted to two chunks of what looked like two over-cooked hush puppies. Nope - those were the pieces of fish, with a funky-tasting malt vinegar dipping sauce, and served with over-cooked potato chips. A couple of of us had omelets which claimed to be three-egg omelets, but I don't think so. Maybe two-egg. They were tasty but a little ""brown and crispy"". They were served with approximately 5 greasy unseasoned french fries and a piece of wheat bread (not toasted) cut in half. No butter, no jelly, just bread. The grilled chicken sandwich was average - it's hard to mess up a grilled chicken sandwich, unless you include burned potato chips. The browned almond butter cake dessert was as dry as the Sahara Desert and crumbled when we cut into it. Oh well, at least we can say we've TRIED brunch at Vine, and leave it at that.
Pros: BLOODY MARY'S; PATIO
Cons: OVERPRICED, BAD FOOD, SERVICE
